When we arrived, they told us they don’t use OpenTable and it would be over an hour wait to eat inside. We were not made aware of a cake cutting surcharge until it was on the bill, they were hesitant to give us an itemized receipt, and when looking back on charges, there was an extra 10$ charge compared to the signed receipt. It was a lot of issues for a birthday party that brought down the vibe of the evening

Booked this restaurant for a birthday event. The chairs and pillows were very dirty and stained, one of the chairs was so broken a friend almost fell out of it. They took it away and twice we had to ask to bring a replacement out. The menus were stained and dirty - both the insert pages and the cocktail menu books. Took 20 minutes to get water and another 15 for drinks even though no one was really at the restaurant. We decided to close our tab after the drink and not get dinner as planned because we were worried about the sanitation. Had to scramble to find somewhere else to go since it was a birthday. This used to be a nice place when they first opened - Has really took a turn. Our server was new to town and very nice,but the hostess was rude/unwelcoming. I will no longer be recommending this restaurant.

Customer service was terrible. Got seated, the server took forever to ask what I would like to order. By the time they asked what I wanted the kitchen was closed and all I could order was pizza. Other than that, the place was nice.

Lyla has been a favorite for me for awhile, but the overall experience here lately has been sub-par. We waited 45 mins for our table. The food was so bad we had to send one back twice and cancelled the order.

I took my family there for my wife’s birthday. A completely lame, dissatisfying experience. Service was subpar. Food was below average. If this is typical, this will be one of the last reviews written about this restaurant.

It was the worst experience. I waited ten minutes before I could get a server to check me in, and the area near the bar was empty. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes to get the waiter. I asked the waiter what the hold-up was; he said they were trying to figure out who would serve me. Are you serious? You can figure that out later, but greet me and bring me some water. I left and will not return.

Ambiance is top tier. They have the perfect balance of music and lighting for a perfect night out. The food was great and spicy orecchiette is highly recommended.
