The absolute best Italian Pizza and pasta and hospitality et all

We love this place! The staff and the owner are always so welcoming and the vibe there is happy and celebratory without it being overbearing. Oh did I mention that the pizza is so good it’ll make you wanna smack your nonna? The choices are creative without being silly and the dough tastes like it’s straight from Naples. Yeah, it’s that delicioso.

Thank you again for a delicious meal! Those carciofi alla romana are delicious!

Luzzo’s BK is one of my favorites. I highly recommend the ravioli ai porcini.

Perfect for a small group of friends for pizza and wine, friendly and relaxed.

All servers were very friendly. Over all a welcoming restaurant with trendy Italian grandma vibes. Will go back soon.

This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant, fresh delicious Italian fare in a laid back setting. We were here for a family birthday and the staff were totally accommodating (let us bring a few balloons). Sometimes the service is a little inconsistent but we never care. When you are at Luzzo’s, you feel like a member of the family, invited to enjoy a family meal.

Always love it here! Love to see familiar faces - esp our server and the GM/Owner (?) who makes us feel welcomed back.

Very accommodating. Even though it is a small restaurant they were able to accommodate our party of 10. Food and service were excellent

Went specifically for gluten free

Great food. Pizza’s are thin and excellent. But the artichokes are the best. Dont miss the Nutella beignets for dessert.

Waaaaaaay too noisy. Extremely difficult to have a conversation. Pizza, wine and good conversation is what we were after! The pizza was just mediocre; yes, the wine was fine; but the conversation was impossible. Not a good place to catch up with friends.

One other complaint: I convinced a friend, who has a gluten sensitivity to join us, as I saw they had many gluten-free pasta options on the menu. He was excited to join us. Sadly, although the pasta is technically gluten-free, it is cooked in the same pot of hot water as the regular pasta. A NO-GO, even for someone who is only mildly sensitive. He was not as disappointed as I was, as from experience, he says this is often the case at many restaurants, even though they’re charging extra for the GF pasta.

Good pizza and salads but the music was loud and we couldn’t hear ourselves

Vibe is great. Service was spectacular. Food and pizza were DELICIOUS. My only “bad” thing to say is that sitting outside you feel totally disconnected from the great feel on the actual restaurant. Sit indoors.

This place is a favorite of mine, great for a good meal in a nice casual environment.

We had a delicious meal and wonderful time with a group of ten celebrating a birthday. Service was great. Everyone enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back.

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! We had 3 lies, all different and delicious!

The food and service was great, but the space itself was very tight. Our group of 7 was seated for dinner at a bar- height table with stools and with very little passing room between tables for guests and the servers.

We come here several times a month and the food is always excellent. The only thing that marred our most recent visit was our waiter's apparent eagerness to get us to leave so he could use the table again. We were there for a little under an hour and a half, not an inordinate amount of time to spend at dinner, so having the waiter repeatedly see if we were ready to pay the check and then to mutter under his breath that he needs the table was truly annoying. I had never seen this waiter before so perhaps he was new.

Io e mio marito abbiamo sempre voluto venire qui a Luzzo's BK. Finalmente abbiamo avuto la possibilità e non ci ha deluso. Il cibo che avevamo era così buono dall'antipasto al caffè e dolce. Vogliamo dire un grande grazie a Gennaro che è stato davvero eccezionale e ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Sicuramente torneremo.

Been here twice now, and both the pizza and pasta dishes are fantastic. The service is also very friendly and knowledgeable, and it's never too crowded or loud! I've lived in the neighborhood for a few months now and this is the first restaurant where I could see myself becoming a regular.

Tour group was in there when we arrived which made for a strange atmosphere. Excellent pizza though! Wine is a bit $$.

Restaurant said they had no record of my reservation (even though I clearly showed them an active open table reservation/confirmation). So, we waited for for about 20 minutes for a table, were seated in the aisle table that everyone needs to walk next to to get back to the 2nd half of the place (not a huge deal but not ideal). When we were finally seated, we were informed that they were waiting on menus to provide to us, fast forward another 10 minutes and we finally got a menu. Pizzas took about an hour to come out, but we’re very good. Pretty loud, as to be expected for a Friday evening.

Real pizza by real Italians. The way pizza should be done with respect by way of excellent ingredients. The dough-the foundation of the pizza-is superb, and it just gets better from that point.

Great pizza, subpar service. It was apparently an unexpectedly busy night, but we had to wait too long at every stage of the process, from water to ordering, aps to mains, and even the check. It wasn’t terrible, but it was consistent.
That said, the pizza was incredible. One bite, and all the issues melted away.

Best pizza in NYC, and I’m saying this as someone born and raised in Italy. It compares with the very best pizzerias in Italy. I’m addicted!

Arrancini, Pizza and Pasta...all very good. The place had a great vibe and the staff were all smiles. Loved it!

This is one of our go-to places in the neighborhood. Management is very friendly and offers great recommendations for wine. They were very busy tonight and it took a bit longer than normal for our entrees to come out, but it was worth the wait!

Excellent pizza, great wine to go with it. Value is in the pizza and service, wine not great value but ok. The pasta dishes other diners were getting looked great as well, we will try them next time.

Authentic Italian cuisine with genuinely friendly and caring staff who remember your name. Very kid friendly. Closest to my Italian grandmother's cooking than anywhere I know!

Came here for the first time during the weekend with a friend. I love cozy places with good comfort food and a casual atmosphere, and this was exactly that. We got wine, salads, and a pizza and all of it was delicious. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I live nearby and will definitely come back as a regular!

Great food, very loud, very casual

This was out first time to Luzzo's BK and we ordered pizza, which was delicious. All of the other dishes looked very good as well. The friendly staff and the fast service is what makes this restaurant outstanding, and the specialty cocktails are very good.

We had a delightful group dinner here on New year's Eve - the food is delicious and the service is so accommodating!
