   My family of ten went to celebrate my husband's birthday af Luxor Steak and Lobster in Wednesday August 4th. With such a large party of course we made an reservation, but they had no idea we were coming. We had to wait to be seated. The restaurant was not full, with only a few partons at the bar. We were seated between the bar and the banquette booths, this area was really loud with the loud music that provide more of a night club vibe than a fine dinning experience. The tables we were seated at, still had leftover crumbs from the previous patrons and we had to ask for new table cloths.We waited about 45 minutes for our drink orders despite being a stones throw away from the bar. All our menus were different with different prices for the same food. Our order took 2 hours and 35 minutes to be served because the kitchen staff kept putting other patrons orders before ours. We ordered seven (7) Porterhouse steak and six (6) Lobster tails at $70 each and each of the steaks were overcooked and not served medium or medium well as requested. My steak that was marked as medium, but i struggled to cut the steak with my knife. The lobsters were small, underseason and rubbery, overcooked from being under the warmer. You can get bigger, better seasoned Lobster tail at Wegmans for about $13.

   Not a steak house Service was horrible table was rocking Just not good worst birthday dinner ever

   The food was delicious and the service was excellent. If you’re looking for delicious fine dining, Luxor is where it’s at. The chef even came out to speak with us.

   Went there for date night. Food was very well prepared. We ate the rib eye steak and lobster tail, both very well prepared. Started with the spinach artichoke dip, and completed the meal with the triple layer chocolate cake. The service was outstanding! For a newer establishment the staff was very well trained. Everyone was very friendly, from the maitre d to the owner who cam over and introduced himself and invited us to return soon (which by the way we will) Great place!

   The Food was absolutely delicious. Not a long wait at all. Would’ve love a better Presentation on my plate, Cloth napkins and perhaps A few add ons to the Ambience that would meet their 5 star Description. I also would suggest something to Indicate that the 2 yellow doors are the entrance. I would definitely go again for dinner but not for a quick drink. The drink prices are a little expensive. Just my opinion. I want to see them make it. Best wishes. 😀

   FOOD: the food is outstanding, very pricey. cajun shrimp and lobster pasta was superb. the ribeye and sweet mash was perfect. the lobster tail was overcooked and the seasoning or maybe that it was overcooked, but it made it taste like bad breath. there was no drink menu, so i did not get to try a cocktail that i saw online posted. took a while to get refills on water and the ginger ale was not that great. AMBIENCE/EXPERIENCE: we made reservations but was seated by the hostess table and weren't able to sit at the upstairs level for some reason, so it was quite chilly. which where we were seated was pretty crowded, the waiters weren't able to go in between the tables. the way it is marketed was as fine dining(like finer dining than black and blue) but going in it was not fine dining, i felt very overdressed in a dress and heels while i would say others were dressed as business casual (jeans and a nice blouse with either heels or flats). the music was a nice touch lots of r&B which i loved. but later through dinner they turned up the music and it became hard to have a conversation. RESERVATION: i made a reservation with a special request which was not fulfilled. :( SERVICE: moving onward to service, they had just opened up the month and you could tell the server was still learning, she was very nice (Domonique) however it took a while to get the check or a drink. i would highly suggest to order when you first sit down everything that you would like, it does take more than average timing, but since we ordered all the food at the same time it was perfect. we did happen to order wings and by the time we had gotten it we had already paid and ready to go. Domonique was apologetic and her customer service was good. OVERALL: i would love to come back later on maybe in the next couple months to see if they may change pricing, more knowledgeable servers, and if they change anything else. this restaurant i believe has lots of potential and can really be something great.

   Stale bread, no wine list, waitress didn't know what Pinot Grigio was.... Not what I would expect from a steak house charging 200$ for dinners. Everyone was friendly. I would equate this to eating at Denny's with 200$ items on the menu.
