Scotland's Burger Restaurant of the Year 2023 (Prestige)... Luxford Burgers was established in October 2020, and since we began operating from a dark kitchen, we have been serving gourmet, real burgers that pack a huge punch of flavour. Alongside these burgers, we serve a great selection of locally-sourced drinks as well as customer favourites on draught. Our bar consists of two minimalist rooms, relaxed but attentive service and most of all, a great product. We are the UK's fastest expanding burger restaurant, with sites in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds.

We arrived and it was a bit empty, but more people arrived after us, and they had non-stop to go orders rolling out. Our burgers were delicious! We did not get a shake, but they looked delicious. The bar tender was making a slew of them. The bar keep was so sweet and helpful.

I love the burgers and chips at Luxford. Best Burgers and Chips in Edinburgh in my opinion. However, St Leonards now does so many deliveries that, as a sit in customer, you feel like an after thought. Staff are so busy putting orders in bags and signalling to delivery guys outside that you can feel ignored. My recent visit was made worse by the fact that thre was no heating on. 1st of February! Edinburgh! It was freezing! Other custiomers walked out because it was so cold. If we weren't in a rush we would have too. Would I recommned it to a friend? I'd love to say 'yes' because of the great food, but given everything else outlined above? I don't think I could.

The food tasted nice but was nowhere hot enough (both burger and chips). Reason? Too much focus on takeaway orders IMO but realise that's an essential income stream. Shouldn't be at the expense of the customer in the restaurant. Had the food been hotter then 'nice' would have been changed to 'excellent'. Need to figure out the service but potential for a cracking place to eat.

Seriously fantastic burgers. Our party had a mix of vegan and chicken: everyone said they were one of the best they’ve ever had! Fab, friendly and kind service from the team. We were there early (5pm) so no one else there and so no vibe - the constant stream of delivery riders was a bit of a drag. And the playlist was only 6 songs so we heard it 3 times in the hour we were there! Also surprised there were no kids options as the burgers are HUGE. But those are all minor things to get your mouth round one of the best burgers in Scotland.
