   Another excellent dinner at Lussmanns St Albans. Sunday special was salted cod with poached egg and spinach. Delicious ! New house red and white wines superb quality and value for money. Keep it up Andrei !

   The food was excellent and service friendly. Great location. Several of the small tables for two are not very well positioned.

   Great food, as usual, unfortunately however they had many walk ins and only had two staff .. as well trained and informed as the staff are it was a stretch. Please offer bread with salad and the seafood bisque .. piano playing was a nice surprise.

   We booked a table with our autistic son needing a power socket. When we arrived, there were no suitable tables available, so the empty 1st floor was made available to us. The management and staff went over and above to ensure that our son felt comfortable. Definitely a repeat booking incoming. Thank you Lussmans. St Albans 👍

   First time at Lussmanns, recommended by some friends. Had seen it before but a bit wary as my wife has to use a walking stick (the stairs at the front put you off). Turns out very accessible with a lift etc. Also can access main floor from the back no stairs required. Food was excellent and our server a very pleasant young lady who knew what to do when. A nice quiet place for lunch.

   We regularly eat here, this is the first time we have been disappointed. We started with the Manx kipper pate. The toasted sour dough bread was over done and the pate was full of big bones. I had at least 20 The Cornish sole was tasteless and covered in chopped tomatoes. Neither of us finished it. Molly did say other people had said the same. The rhubarb crumble was tasteless. My chocolate mouse was delicious. They did take the price of the desserts off as compensation. Very dissatisfied.

   I took my father in law here after hearing good things about Lussmans. We were blown away, the Dover sole was superb, fresh and flavourful. The restaurant itself has a great ambience and lovely decor. Mostly, our waitress (Carienne maybe?) was so friendly and personable that she made the experience unforgettable. One of the best waitress experiences we have had.
