The food and wine were delicious (we both had steak, chips, market vegetables, chocolate mousse and a house red). The service was excellent, as was the setting. I've lived in St Albans for 13 years now, and before children we ate at many of the excellent restaurants it has to offer. These days, with only one or two lunches a year (whilst our 5 year old twins are at school), Lussmanns is our restaurant of choice these days - it is consistently good with the food, wine and service, whatever we choose. This particular visit was to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday!

A lovely evening with a jazz pianist/singer adding to the atmosphere. New menu had so many choices it was difficult to decide what to eat. All delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive and even gave me a taster pot of dessert to try because of my dietary issues. A big thank you especially to Daniella and Emily who did an excellent job looking after us. Lussmanns is a great venue which we frequent regularly - we will continue to do so.

This is our second visit to Lussmans and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly, efficient staff. Great food. Lovely ambiance. Kate Garner (daughter of Chas Hodges of Chas n Dave) provided the music which was top class. Highly recommend a visit.

Very nice atmosphere and staff were friendly and attentive. As a vegetarian I was very disappointed with the food- there was only one option- the cauliflower steak- which was just a soggy boiled cauliflower. Bland- with no herbs/spices on it. My husband ate the fish and was happy with the meal. Pudding was very nice

Hi Alex We sell 3 starters and three mains which are all vegetarian / vegan. I am sorry that he cauliflower was not as hoped and will review as normally very good, hence why we have kept this dish on for summer.
