We went to Lussmans on Fish and Chip Friday to have the excellent fish and chips. It was delicious as usual. The service was good. A good visit. Can highly recommend the fish and chips.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT IN THE HEART OF ST ALBANS, THE FOOD IS WELL PRESENTED AND TASTY. THE AMBIENCE IS CONVIVIAL AND RELAXED, BUT THE BEST ELEMENT WAS THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY OUR WAITRESS.

The food wasn't as good as it usually is. I've been to Lussmanns many times before and always enjoyed it but were disappointed by the food this time. The cod cheeks starter was overcooked and lacked spice, and the poached egg on my fishcake hard a hard yolk.

It seems like on a Saturday night extra staff are needed as service was very slow. We were seated upstairs and it was too cramped and crowded and we could hear our neighbours’ conversation. Even though we said it was for a Birthday occasion nothing extra was added to celebrate this. Though the temperature was fine there was a fan in and our backs were freezing! But food was good and staff were helpful and friendly.

A fabulous meal out with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great food, cooked with top attention to detail, flavour & presentation. Very attentive & cheerful serving staff - all round made for a teriffic special occasion . Thankyou Lussmans!

We booked Lussmanns for the evening of our arrival in St Albans and liked it so much that we booked again the following evening. Service was efficient and friendly and we were impressed by the atmosphere; the members of staff were cheerful and the guests relaxed. Thought had been given to the dishes, which we enjoyed. If I return to St Albans, I shall eat again at Lussmanns. I can recommend it without hesitation.

This is the second time we have been to Lussman's and it will not be the last. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful and there is always a great buzz about the place. The food, especially the Mezze Platter, was very good indeed! Highly recommend.
