   Service was fantastic. My meal was lovely stewed steak and mash and spring greens. Took my brother and sister in law over from the USA. Everyone loved it.

   A Good Friday tradition. Lussmans in Hitchin was excellent as always. Great food, lovely wine and friendly, professional staff. Thank you 😊

   Excellent revisit for me. Wonderful fish and chip Friday followed by orange brûlée.thank you for the lovely service and well prepared and cooked food. We will return again.

   Dined there for a catchup with a friend . I had the sole and it was delicious thank you . Service was great as usual.

   I visit Lussmans regularly. Whilst not usually a big fan of fish & chips, I did have the pleasure of eating it once in a Fish & Chips Friday there perhaps 12-18 months ago. It was light & fresh and crispy, just delicious, and I’ve thought about it lots since then but hardly ever visit on a Friday. We went one Friday maybe 6 months ago and they had sold out of F&C… I was gutted. So when we visited last Friday and managed to get the last three portions of fish & chips, I was super excited. But I’m afraid it wasn’t what it used to be, or certainly not the food I had been slathering over ever since that first visit. The fish was quite nicely cooked, but the batter was heavy-handed, tough & greasy and way too much of it. The chips weren’t great either. All three of us thought the same. Service was wonderful and they were very obliging when we arrived with 5 of us for our table of 4. But I don’t think I’ll be going for the F&C Friday again anytime soon…

   The hosting was friendly, relaxed but attentive - including water brought to table as soon as we sat down, a great idea. Excellent menu. Creative and delicious starters, perfectly cooked fish dishes with complimentary accompanying flavours. Wine also very good, and great choice of puddings to end. Gently background music that didn't impinge on conversation atall. All in all a great evening. Thank-you Lussmanns

   Excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was good. Quite cool in the restaurant but overall a good experience

    After visiting the restaurant, I felt very happy and relaxed after spending a couple of hours there. The atmosphere was lovely, and the selection of meals was excellent. The service was great, and the staff had a wonderful sense of humour, making the experience even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the starters, and we opted for the set menu since it had plenty of options. The staff were also incredibly supportive of me as a pregnant person, taking the time to check ingredients and ensure everything was within the recommended guidelines. Overall, a fantastic experience!
