Dennis was on top of his game as always.
Great service and great food equals a great group business dinner.
Dinner was outstanding and the setting on the veranda was ideal. If you love fresh seafood you won’t be disappointed. Prices are not modest, but this is South Beach so not surprising. Our waiter, Dennis, was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Overall wonderful experience.
Always outstanding. Very accommodating to special requests. Fried snapper is ridiculous. Addictive.
Food was fantastic, ambiance was chill, hit the spot when looking for some fresh seafood.
The rolls were the highlight, the tuna was so fresh. Lobster roll was great, and the oysters were great.
If you're starting a rowdy night out, this may not be the place for you
Had bones in my snapper a la plancha, but it was perfectly cooked. Veggies on top were very al sentence, though. The wine we picked out was not what they brought us, and then it took half an hour for them to look and realize they did not have the bottle we ordered, so we had to choose another. Wine is very overpriced. The ceviche of the day which was tuna and watermelon was the best thing I had eaten in a long time, though!
Avoid. Way, way overpriced for just average food. Too many other great places to go in Miami go burn your money here.
Took over an hour to get drink. Then another hour to get apps. And they were not good. Never again
Nothing special: waiter and service was excellent, food was mediocre, lobster Mac was dry, scallops uneventful, key lime pie too strong, Sushi outstanding! Good over priced.
Great evening at Lure. Nautical theme isn’t over the top- both elegant and casual. Nice wine list, beautiful raw fish dishes. Service friendly and though she missed some cues- food came relatively quickly. Would have liked to be near a window/have some view as it is a dark interior but still a lovely experience.
Great restaurant. Great service. The food is excellent and so are the drinks. This Is the second time we’ve been there and we love it we will keep coming back as long as we keep coming to Miami South Beach
A little hidden gem, I highly recommend the place for the atmosphere, food and service. Everything was outstanding
We went for two family birthdays. The staff was smiley and friendly, it was noisy enough that I wasn’t worried about my kids excited voices. Food was great.
Recently engaged and the restaurant made our evening so special, pouring us celebratory champagne! Great food and service
Service a disaster. Pricy and not worthy
It was fabulous as usual in every way Ifyou can sit in the section manned by Dennis your dining experience will be flawless
The grilled whole fish is amazing! Lure feels a little like an men's club....not that that is a bad thing.
Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and wine.
Dennis and rest of employees great as always
The service was very slow. The wines were overpriced.
The food was good, not great.
Great location, excellent food and service.
We had a party of seven so that always makes things more difficult, but these guys really were inept. Our drinks and appetizers were great, but clearing the table wasn't performed until plates were piling up on top of each other and we grabbed the manager who was just going to walk on by without assisting. A bottle of wine that was ordered and placed in a community ice bucket with another table out of reach was never revisited by the wait staff so we got up and poured our own each time. Two of the seven entrees ordered were not accurate and one never showed up. Fiasco for my birthday and a terrible memory.
We’ve been dining here at least four consecutive years. Jason the bartender is a great mixologist and we recommend visiting him at the bar first. I dreamed of tasting their briny little neck clams
but alas they were not on the menu. Why? No one knew. Wedge salad arrived chopped and tossed with blue cheese, delicious. And the kitchen divided the ample portion for us to share, which was appreciated. Tempura shrimp were mediocre, fried too long. A side of spinach was perfectly executed in olive oil with tiny bits of garlic. Our server, who hailed from Maine, was genuinely caring and attentive, expert at her job, wanting to be sure we were genuinely satisfied.
Food was very good. Service was friendly but at the pace of a diner. For a fine dining restaurant (with prices to match) shouldn't feel like wham bang thank u mam! Also didn't appreciate a $2 upcharge on a $ 16 drink because it was ordered on the rocks without being told. 20% gratuity added to all checks including bottles of wine. Not a relaxed .meal. Total time for a $160 meal for 2, from arrival to check paid, 1 hour exactly.
Cocktails, apps and service good, main course fish was not. Overcooked and dry. No one came over to inquire about it, ate most of it and left not satisfied. Won't return nor recommend. Save your money hotel guests and head down to Milos. Better value for dollar and they do not take their customers for granted.
My Birthday was amazing, Thank you
Rita was great, very helpful in guiding our choices and super knowledgeable about the menu. Will return!
WE HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE AND THIS MEAL WAS NO DIFFERENT FROM THE REST - AMAZING.
WE TOOK OUR DAUGHTER AND SHE WANTED TO RETURN BUT RAN OUT OF TIME.
SHE LOVES SUSHI AND SAID IT WAS THE BEST SHE HAS TASTED
Came to Miami on vacation, manager called me to move my reservation due to a private party and said he would "take care" of me since I was accommodating moving reservation to next night. Never saw the manager, was seated in a horrible table behind the server stand (spent the night looking at the computers and the backs of the waitstaff). After a long wait, server came to take our order, I had to interrupt and ask if we could order drinks and appetizer. Not at all what I expected for this level of restaurant. Plenty of better restaurants in Miami, won't be going back.
Lure was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, there was nothing that we ordered that was even mediocre, everything was excellent and came out quickly. Dennis was the best server! He was very attentive and made great recommendations for us. He offered to take pictures of our group for us and treated us like celebrities even though there were real celebrities at the table next to us! I suggest the scallops and crab cake and make sure you ask for Dennis!
Sushi was too salty
Excellent food and wine . Athmosphere a bit dark. Service a bit stressed.... but very nice experience
Food was good but not up to expectations . The sauces lacked taste- the snapper champagne sauce was bland tasting and sauce for stone crab lacked zest as promised.
The ambiance is nice, noise level was moderate + , and service fair.
Couldn’t ask for a better night! great menu, great alcohol list.
Waitress was amazing Kristen was her name
I loved everything. Honestly the meal was the best meal I’ve had in along time. Had tomatoes and burrata, octopus as appetizers, scallops to die for as entree, miso salmon and key lime pie. It was soooo good. Our server was the right amount of attentive. The ambiance was upscale casual and relaxed. It was perfection. Thinking of going back again before we leave Miami because it was so good. Better than some better known places. Just go!!
Service was unacceptable - our waiter had one too many tables on his plate and decided to pick us as his table to, well, blow off.
Showed up rushed - we had to force a drink order on him and then we finished all the edamame before they showed up. He acted like he didn’t have time for us and we didn’t even end up ordering entrees because he said, I’ll be back for those orders instead of just taking them. He showed up again in 15 minutes after that comment (this was about an hour and half into our meal).
Our order for 4 people:
X2Martinis to start ($20)
X1 Glass of sparkling ($15)
X2 Chicken lollipop - these are amazing ($15)
X4 Sushi Rolls ($17-$20)
X2 Louis Jadot Marsannay Blanc 2010 $125 ($29.99 retail) - wine was delicious
X1 very disappointing key lime pie, the after taste was something that needed to be washed away immediately ($unknown)
Not sure why he decided to select us to blow off, as we spent good money and would have spent more, seeing that we didn’t even order mains.
The bill ended up $549 with his guaranteed 20% included - which is standard pricing for a restaurant attached to the Loews hotel. Never makes you feel good paying good money and being treated like we were not worth our waiters time. Our ladies were not impressed.
Overall, the food was pretty good, but our waiters choices and timeliness was unacceptable. Som and water service was on point.
Amazing food and service, without question. When in Miami, must have Lure Fishbar!
Great food! I am from NYC and have been to the Lure in SoHo. Same great experience here. Dinner & drinks are pricey but it's worth the money.
Took about an hour just to get our appetizers. Then when our entrees finally arrived which also took forever we were told they ran out of mashed potatoes.
Unbelievable Valentine’s Day meal. So much delicious food we couldn’t finish it all. Beautifully presented and expertly prepared!
