We were disappointed when we were halfway through our meal and were informed that the kitchen was closed when we went to order more food. Very annoying that our waiter did not inform us that the kitchen was closing beforehand. The automatic 20% gratuity added to every check is not a recipe for good service.
The appetizer was amazing! Crispy rice with tuna tartare. Everything was good but a little less flavor than expected. Service was outstanding. In the future I would come for drink and apps / sushi menu.
Food (fish is very fresh) and service were very good. More casual ambiance. Good for families and friend get-togethers.
Great food, service and ambiance. Lovely tempura shrimp.
A perfect place, classic but cozy. Food excellent, great atmosphere and amazing staff!
Our food was very good, but we went for their Tuesday Burger Special and were overcharged. We did receive the Miami Spice Menu, but didn't find anything appealing. The atmosphere is nice, but I probably wouldn't return. They do have outdoor dining, and the staff is very nice.
Petites portions, prix très élevés, ambiance et personnel sympathique et agréable
Food was way too salty, waiter wasn’t very nice. Ambiance is wonderful.
Really delicious foodvand perfect service. A clear remoondstion!
The food was excellent along with the service. We enjoyed the menu items recommended by the waiter.
We will definitely return.
I work one block from the Soho branch, so I was a little unsure about going here on vacation. I am so glad we did, it was a wonderful experience. The red snapper for two was the best dish we had in Miami.
Muy buena comida y atención. Pedimos sushi y pescado
Full moon night, and we wanted to sit outside on the terrace to see the moon rise (and anyway, it's a beautiful view.) But the tables were not set up because they were being refinished. We prevailed upon Gatsby to allow us to sit there anyway (one had been finished). The service was excellent, as was the food. I'm always impressed when a waiter brings a change of knives and forks after each course, and brings adequate plates for sharing. Most important , there was no outside music or noise and we could actually carry on conversations with our friends. Lovely, memorable evening.
Fantastic meal tonight. Superb service, Britney went above and beyond . She knew the menu well and could answer every question we had about food preparation , flavors and answer any questions we had. The manager was attentive and the entire staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience.
Great dinner at Lure Fishbar! Enjoyed both Lobster Tempura and Spicy Tuna Rolls. Miso Salmon and NE Lobster Roll were our main courses. Wonderful wines by the glass were paired with each course.
Special thanks to our server, Gerardo, who was both gracious and professional!
Highly recommend this establishment if you are in South Beach.
Everything was awesome!!!
There was a little confusion initially with being seated but once that was resolved , we had a top notch experience. Food and drink were of good value and quality!
This place is awesome. Rina was a delight and the hustle was amazing. We had a lovely time, the specials were great, and sitting outside around sunset is very pleasant!
Food quality was excellent, especially the lobster.
After putting in a day at a trade show, we decided just for a quick dinner in the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The server was very pleasant and very helpful. My wife and I decided to share the Tuna Tacos, these were excellent. A hard tortilla filled to the brim with chunks of tuna, with excellent dressing. On our server recommendation, we order the whole snapper, grilled crispy for 2. The presentation was breathtaking, and the chunks of crispy tempura styled chunks of snapper, were tender, well seasoned, and almost too much for just the two of us. Our side dish, (included with the entry) was the lightly fried rice. We are returning end of January, for a jewelry show, and you may rest assured, we will be back at the Lure, for another meal.
It was great
If you're staying at their host hotel, the Loew's, you must waltz over to the adjacent St. Moritz building and dine at Lure. The restaurant is beautifully designed; it offers a modern, yet cozy ship-like vibe. First, check them out for happy hour, which is every day from 6-7:30 PM. The raw oysters, fresh sushi, and crispy rice cakes, in addition to the Flying Jaff cocktail (essentially a rum old-fashioned) are not to be missed. My date and I went to enjoy their "from SoHo to SoBe" special menu. The pan roasted striped bass was the best fish I've tasted all year and the "I'll Have That" lemon, vodka, and earl grey martini was exquisite. In addition, we ordered a king crab california roll and a wedge salad. I would certainly return and just order some of their signature sushi rolls, they're incredible. Save room for their key lime pie as well; it's one of the best in South Beach for sure.
Delicious food and cocktails . Had a long wait for the entrees but the staff recognised this and dealt with it well
Excellent service and great food. Dennis our server was awesome.
Largely overpriced food and poor service. Waited the whole meal for the waitress to visit and I had to stop her myself to get service.
Food was great. Service was horrible but they include gratituity on all checks so you pay the same for good or bad service unfortunately.
The experience was outstanding! We were attended by the most professional employee named Rina. She was the highlight of our dinner at Lure, and one of the reasons we’ll be coming back.
Great food. Excellent service. Worth every penny.
Highly recommend the oysters and sushi.
Dennis was on top of his game as always.
Great service and great food equals a great group business dinner.
Dinner was outstanding and the setting on the veranda was ideal. If you love fresh seafood you won’t be disappointed. Prices are not modest, but this is South Beach so not surprising. Our waiter, Dennis, was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Overall wonderful experience.
Always outstanding. Very accommodating to special requests. Fried snapper is ridiculous. Addictive.
Food was fantastic, ambiance was chill, hit the spot when looking for some fresh seafood.
The rolls were the highlight, the tuna was so fresh. Lobster roll was great, and the oysters were great.
If you're starting a rowdy night out, this may not be the place for you
Had bones in my snapper a la plancha, but it was perfectly cooked. Veggies on top were very al sentence, though. The wine we picked out was not what they brought us, and then it took half an hour for them to look and realize they did not have the bottle we ordered, so we had to choose another. Wine is very overpriced. The ceviche of the day which was tuna and watermelon was the best thing I had eaten in a long time, though!
Avoid. Way, way overpriced for just average food. Too many other great places to go in Miami go burn your money here.
Took over an hour to get drink. Then another hour to get apps. And they were not good. Never again
Nothing special: waiter and service was excellent, food was mediocre, lobster Mac was dry, scallops uneventful, key lime pie too strong, Sushi outstanding! Good over priced.
Great evening at Lure. Nautical theme isn’t over the top- both elegant and casual. Nice wine list, beautiful raw fish dishes. Service friendly and though she missed some cues- food came relatively quickly. Would have liked to be near a window/have some view as it is a dark interior but still a lovely experience.
Great restaurant. Great service. The food is excellent and so are the drinks. This Is the second time we’ve been there and we love it we will keep coming back as long as we keep coming to Miami South Beach
A little hidden gem, I highly recommend the place for the atmosphere, food and service. Everything was outstanding
We went for two family birthdays. The staff was smiley and friendly, it was noisy enough that I wasn’t worried about my kids excited voices. Food was great.
