Fresh and dried house-made pastas are also available for purchase by weight in the market, along with freshly baked bread, jams, olive oils, pastries, sauces and other imported Italian products. At lunch, a selection of house-made paninis, salads, pastas and Roman-style.
A Chef's Table is also available for special events. The Chef creates a special coursed prix-fixe just for your event. Must be booked a week prior.
We had a wonderful server who made us feel welcome. The food was very good. We had a lovely meal.

We live not too far away and enjoy your restaurant when we are in town during the summer. But
pasta with clams was disappointing, smallest clams I have ever seen. Service slow on drinks, had to
ask when they would arrive. But am sure we will return some time in the future.
My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Lupo Verde and the pasta dishes were excellent -- especially the cacio e pepe. Although we would have appreciated a larger serving size, we both agreed it was the best we had eaten in the DC area.

One of my favorite DC restaurants. Has a more quaint feel to the atmosphere than 14th Street location, but the staff and food is always amazing.
We were overall disappointed. The service was spotty even tho there were a lot of servers (all make). The frito misto was mediocre with shrimp that did not taste fresh, we’re over cooked and squid that was ordinary but at least not tough. The large sardine was tasteless other than being fishy. One pasta dish was pretty tasty (the gnocchi, although the very large slices of garlic were in the way ) the other was boring (gemelli) We won’t be going back.
Service was top notch, the entire staff was very attentive but not overbearing. Food is consistently good - traditional-based dishes with just the right amount of modern flair. Mid-week so the noise level was very low, making conversations very easy.

Really impressed with waitstaff. They were as accommodating with our kindergartener as they were with the rest of our party.
Nice interiors but food is mediocre and overpriced. My halibut was very dry and cauliflower was burned. My 10 year old son is pasta lover and was looking for a good one in the Italian Osteria but... got mac&cheese only despite he described very well what he was looking for.
And $140 for three main dishes plus two glasses of wine plus one Coke and one ice cream was (IMHO) too much for this dinner

Their service is awesome!!from the great smile and welcome of the host. Angelo and Elaine are such a great manager!! You will never feel intimidated..Our server is fantastic! Plus factor is that we have observed that all the servers help each other not only minding their own table but helping other servers on their table if one is busy...WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUPO OSTERIA. Not only that you are in very nice restaurant but most especially you feel and home!! We'll definitely come back.

Simply one of the best meals my wife and I have had in a long time. We could not have imagined a more perfect anniversary dinner!
The wait staff was at first attentive then tapered off to below standard. Menu was limiting and our entrees were fine though not really good. May return but no time soon.
Food good, service terrible. They either need more staff or the existing staff should learn how to coordinate with each other. Left long periods of time with no one coming to our table for anything.
Lovely cozy restaurant, the food was excellent and our server Ekaterina was very knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful in guiding us to wines, drinks, and dishes that suited our preferences. We'll definitely return and I do recommend it. We sat in the room where the bar is located and while it's a cozy room, those who are affected by noise levels might prefer to sit in another room as it was fairly lively on the Saturday evening of our reservation and I could see how those sensitive to noise could find it a bit loud. That said, for me, everything was perfect, it was great to have a nice leisurely meal, great wines and food, we never felt rushed and really enjoyed it!
Food is delicious without trying too hard to get fancy. Staff is friendly and professional. Easy to park in the area.
This was the second time we've been to Lupo Verde Osteria. With one exception, the food was excellent (the wild boar chop was cooked medium well, rather than medium rare, and was a bit dry, but still tasty). The venue presents some difficulties for the mobility-challenged: If you need a walker, getting in will be hard, and if you have a wheelchair, probably impossible.
The restaurant is lovely with very attentive, friendly service. Menu choices were fresh and seasonal, light and delicious. The whole experience at Lupo Verde was delightful and refreshing.
Great spot for brunch. Delicious food, love the dessert menu, especially the new orange dessert. Great ambiance, truly made me feel special. Highly recommended!!
So pleased with this addition to Palisades! Lovely spot for lunch. Had the special - Branzino over roasted artichokes. Seasonal, fresh and high quality. Delicious focaccia and friendly service. Highly recommend!
I have been to Lupo Verde before, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The seafood-pasta dish I ordered had a lovely pasta, but no seafood. Squid ink in the pasta and seafood was used to make the sauce, but not a single piece of seafood. The pasta was very good, but it wasn't really much of a seafood dish. Wine was good but overpriced. Service was good. Even though only one table was near occupied near us, it was loud.

All in a lovely setting
Went Saturday night for the first time, found imaginatively prepared food, service with aplomb and an opinion (May), a hosting team who couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating (Irene and Luis) and portions that work perfectly, whether doing appies and small plates, or entrees. The chicken is a surprise and the linguini vongole delights with its Meyer Lemon flair. The tartufo nero was a positively sinful way to cross the finish line! Upstairs is lively, a bit noisy, but the intensity is part of the fun, downstairs a tad quieter and the bar area looks like it rocks. Kudos, gang, and we're grateful for a new fresh face on MacArthur.

The kitchen was having an off night (it was a Monday) and not pacing orders well. For example, one pasta came out and had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp too long—it was luke warm and gummy. Granted, the waiter should have caught that before it was served and the kitchen should have timed things better, but they seemed to be a little short staffed and bus boy brought it out without noticing (again, maybe management should better train staff). Waiter and host (who was doing double duty) were fantastic, appropriately gracious and friendly, yet professional. Waiter noticed 30 seconds after pasta was served that it shouldn’t have been. Comped both pasta (after replacing with a fresh plate) and dessert. Unnecessary, but a nice gesture in a town where so many fronts of houses are seemingly indifferent to guests (yes, I’m looking right at you Bucks).
