As ever, Lupo Verde does not disappoint: great service, lovely food, and splendid wine recommendations. The only slightly discordant note was the sound system. Music too too loud for an alcove. It's genuinely Italian, and genuinely excellent!

They were on the restaurant week list, but when we got there, they said they were not offering the restaurant week menu. I got the pasta wil muscles and it was so incredibly bland

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We are from NY and are an italian family so we have had our fair share of amazing italian restaurants. My husband and I both agreed this was the best. Service was outstanding, ambience was on point, all the food and drinks were mouthwatering. Pretty upset we don’t live in the area but this restaurant is definitely on our list when we’re back in DC.

This is a long time family favorite and it still never disappoints. We took my wife's best friend and her husband who were in from out of town for her birthday, and they could not have enjoyed themselves more.

Loved the outdoor dining patio. It really made the evening feel special. Of course the weather was amazing too. The server was outstanding and attentive. Once it got busier he was still milling around and easy to catch. I had the linguine w/ saffron and shrimp. Honestly, I was a little disappointed as it had little flavor. The bread though - omg. It is to die for! My friends had the gnocchi with tomato sauce and said it was good; the other had the tagliolini alla pescatora which she said was delicious. To top off the evening, our birthday celebration continued with the most amazing tiramisu in a little planter. It was the best I've ever had!!!

The food was delicious. We had the artichoke appetizer which was perfectly cooked. The fritto misto could have been a meal and the 4 of us could not finish it. I had the branzino cooked under a crust of salt and filleted table side (not salty at all) with vegetables. The wait staff was grit, courteous and attentive. We will return.

We sat at the outside patio which has a great cover and fans. There was a lot of noise from emergency vehicles and car alarms in the area. The ambiance is fun and lively and the menu is authentic Italian with great choices for seafood and meat dishes.

Great place for all occasions as the downstairs and outdoor patio are casual, but the second level is a beautiful more formal dinning area. Menu with excellent choices for all tastes. Friendly servers and delicious cocktails. What else could you ask for a medium priced restaurant?!

We've eaten here before (been a while) so we were shocked at how awful the food was--especially given the prices. One pasta dish was flavored with so much salt one couldn't taste the rest of the dish. Another pasta dish, with sausage and porcini mushrooms, was lackluster. The sausage had no flavor and looked like thick sliced grey lunchmeat. Gnocchi with salmon, eh. Appetizers were good but meagre, given they were $22 each. Glass of rose at $14 was a cheap vintage. Peroni beers didn't fill the glasses they were served in. The Sicilian wine we had with dinner was good, but not $68 worth. Tiramisu was ok. Very disappointing birthday dinner.

Our server Saul was great and the food was superb. Especially enjoyed the Ossobucco All Arrabbiata. The bottle of Dolcetto D’Alba Falleto wine parred very well with the meal. Finished the meal with dessert. You’ll have to try the Tiramisu!

Our experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Kind of mediocre food. We were convinced that the charcuterie and cheese plate came from Trader Joe's - that level of quality. Service was fine. We were lucky to get a table outside and I appreciate how the restaurant did not have a lot of tables next to each other.
