Welcome to Lupo Pizzeria!!

Lupo Pizzeria is a brand new pizza restaurant in the heart of Locksbottom, focusing on delivering fresh ingredients and quality pizzas. When you stroll through out pizzeria we do what we can to make everybody feel comfortable and at home, with a family friendly atmosphere.

We believe in supporting small local businesses and this is why all our cheeses are produced with British milk in an Italian style dairy farm, based here in the UK.

You can also find a good selection of wines and English craft beers.

Excellent food and attentive staff. Restaurant and toilets were clean. Quiet for a Saturday night but that suited us (apparently the football was on!!!)

What a huge disappointment Lupo's restaurant turned out to be. I was so embarrassed because it was me who suggested that we tried it. Lupo's Restaurant is situated next door to another very good Italian restaurant, and it is almost opposite one of the finest restaurants in Kent. I therefore expected it to be of a high standard. There were no other customers in this restaurant on Tuesday 10th May 2022 except my two friends and myself, and I can see why. The food wasn't good at all. We intended to enjoy a long evening together and have three courses of food and a few drinks, but everything was so bad that we didn't bother to order any deserts or even coffees and left as soon as we had eaten our main course. We ordered a couple of plates of Bruschetta to have with our drinks before ordering our meals. The Bruschetta was really bad. The toast was cold and hard and all that the chef did to prepare this was to chop up some very cold tomatoes and put them on top of the cold hard toast with a basil leaf. It was just not what I expected from a so called Italian restaurant. A six year old child could have made a better effort. I ordered one of the most expensive pizza's, 'The Amalfi Pizza' and hoped that it would be an improvement on the Bruschetta, but no! It was tasteless, cold, uncooked in the middle and burnt all around the edge. I had a gin and tonic and an Amalfi pizza, my friend had two glasses of prosecco and a small portion of lasagne, and my other friend had a more basic pizza and a spritzer. We shared two portions of Bruschetta between us. The bill came to over £93!! for a pizza and a drink in a restaurant which is completely devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever. It was a thoroughly miserable place to eat in and I would never go back there again.

Hi Thank you for your review. I’m sorry that you felt let down by your experience here with us at Lupo. We are always working very hard to improve our food and services ,id like to point out that our homemade sourdough bread (not toast) that is used with our bruschetta is made daily here on the premises ,apologies if it was cold and hard.the pizzas are again made here freshly. We take pride on the food that we serve Unfortunately its not our fault if it was not busy on a Tuesday night Best Tony

Pizza is absolutely amazing, one of the best I tasted. Drinks menu could do with a little improvement, hence I didn't give 5 stars allround.

staff were attentive and friendly. Laid back atmosphere and setting. Great fully loaded wood fired pizzas. Lunch or dinner you shouldn't be dissappointed especially if you prefer you pizzas with a thin crispy base. Also noticed a steady stream of take outs which would make a nice change to some of the other major pizza takeaways.

I love this restaurant the food is amazing ( the tiramisu is the best I have had love it) and the service is also very good. My mum wasn’t sure what to have to drink so the staff offered to make her any drink that she wanted that wasn’t ok the menu. I also think this place is good value for money.
