    Liam was our waiter. excellent service. not our first visit…caesar salad dressing was so tasty. our dinners were great. ate every bite! and, of course, we over enjoyed our Prosecco & wine! grazie from 5 Banff ladies🥂

    While the service, presentation, and atmosphere at Lupo were all top-notch, the food fell short of expectations. The homemade pasta dish was beautifully crafted, with a rich béchamel sauce that complemented the pasta perfectly. However, an overabundance of added salt overshadowed the dish, making it inedible. Given the salty nature of the fontina cheese and ham, it seemed unnecessary to add even more salt. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in other dishes, including the lamb chops and halibut. On a positive note, the eclectic accompaniments were inventive and enjoyable. Despite the kitchen's missteps, we'll give Lupo another chance – perhaps their pizza, which seemed to be a crowd-pleaser among nearby diners, will be a better bet.

    We had a reservation an hour later than when we arrived, but they we able to accommodate us, which we greatly appreciated being tired from a long day of activities. The food was excellent, but the service felt a little rushed. It was one of the best, if not the best, meal we had during our 4 day visit to the area.

    The experience was second to none. I made the reservations in Feb and realized the day before my reservation that i would not make it in time. The resturant was full for a later time but arrangements were made for us to come in later as we booked so long ago. Fantastic customer service. How I wish I remembered our servers name. He was awesome, he is a rock climber with reddish hair. His service was amazing, he was personable and fun. I loved hearing his stories, he treated us like friends. Highly recommend Lupo.
