A terrace overlooking the Arno, near to the beautiful Ponte Vecchio, in the center of Florence. For 15 years this charming bistrot has been exalting Chianina meat (local cattle breed) certified Igp with its proposals. From Florentine T Bone steak to gourmets hamburger from creative tartares to the beloved Chianina beef sushi. Our dishes are prepared exclusively with seasonal ingredients, coming from local and artisanal realities of the Tuscan territory and beyond; we offer a rich choice of strictly seasonal Tuscan dishes, without forgetting vegetarian customers. Absolutely tasteless food, we tried starter expecting a croquet and received something which looked like a burger patty without any seasoning. Followed up with steak (definitely not filet cut) which has no taste, and the so called wine sauce was just water with sugar, even the potatoes tasted horrible if they were fried in an old oil. We left without finishing any of our food. This also cost us €120.

Dinner here was a delight surprise. After three days full of tourist restaurants finally we found Lungarno 23 going down from Piazzale Michelangelo and we had a delicious dinner. Although this is a steak house, they have a lot of vegetarian dishes, especially pastas. My wife is vegetarian and she got the baked eggplant and truffle risotto: she was delighted! Ossobuco and tiramisu are absolutely flavorsome!

Unforgettable night! The staff is very professional and friendly. Our waitress Viola explained us the menu and recommended us the beef sushi and fillet steak: both AMAZING. The meat is very tender and of high quality. The patio is suggestive and even if the restaurant is located in the city center it’s away from the tourist masses. The combination of these elements makes this the best restaurant where I’ve eaten in Florence.

Great location, wonderful service, great ambiance, and good food. The polenta with chicken foie gras was one of the best things I ate in all of Florence.

The service was great the food was like an instagram post. Pretty but fake and not good in reality. Steak was tough and full of fat. The cheese had little flavor and the outside had one fan for the whole patio.

Truly one of the best meals we had while in Florence. Loved the location of the restaurant, and our server, Violoa, was the cherry on top. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The servers were all very nice and made our friend’s birthday special with a candle and sparkler. The food was very good, the fillet was delicious. We weren’t like wow this is the best place ever but it is perfect for the price. Would recommend- definitely a more touristy place but that can be good sometimes.

We had a lovely dinner on the terrace facing the river. Thankfully it had a strong overhang, because it rained hard part of the time. We recommend the brownie with mousse topping, though we needed it translated for us by the waiter before we knew what it was.

This was one of our favorite dining experiences of our whole week. Viola was so kind, funny, and seemed very passionate about food and helping us. She helped us order our first Florentine steak! The food was incredible from appetizer to dessert. The ambience was away from the crowds and peaceful. We will be returning for sure. Thank you so much Viola!
