Lundy's was a beloved and nostalgic Brooklyn institution, re-known for it's fresh seafood dishes going all the way back to the 1920's. This culinary staple, recalled by many a New Yorker, revives vintage recipes and raw delights such as oysters, lobster, the "shore dinner", bisque and Huckleberry pie, while enhancing "surf & turf" it with sizzling porterhouse steak for two. Between vintage cocktails in crystal - stemmed glasses, live music and tunes from the 40's, 50's & 60's, this throw-back is a definite nod to a former era that speaks of old-world New York elegance and classic hospitality.

I was so disappointed and upset. Less than 24 hours before my reservation they called to cancel saying there is a private event taking place and they will not be open!!! They left a VM so I called back for an explanation. The man who answered mentioned “poor” communication within their organization and I told them it has horrible communication if they are just letting me know. I told him that the reservation was for my birthday and now it’s ruined because it will be so difficult to get a reservation at a nice seafood place elsewhere. He offered to let me speak to a manager and put on hold for at least 2 minutes only to come back with out him. He said the manager would call me ; I gave my name and number: I have heard from no one!!!this is beyond unprofessional and rude. They clearly don’t care about the public. I made this reservation weeks ago so there was plenty of if time to contact me so could make other arrangements. This was so wrong!!!!

Expected a lot due to what I had read on-line and was very excited The food was barely OK - the deviled eggs tasted like 95% mustard. We told the waitress they were inedible and she told us "that's how they make them every night" so if that's in fact true; AVOID them at all cost. Waste of money! There were 4 people in our party and everybody agreed the best thing was the butterscotch ice cream for dessert. I wouldn't go back again - overpriced for the quality of the food

Food was undistinguished. Seated at a dark corner when there was far more pleasant tables for four which were used to seat 2. It was okay but not worth a return.

Everything was perfect at Lundy's! The food was delicious (we had the Shore dinner with Roasted Chicken). The RobRoy cocktail was outstanding! Service was outstanding! Decor was a beautiful: combination of historic and today. I can't wait to go back! See you there!

Lundys on Emmons Avenue was our place for special occasions.....graduations....birthdays....anniversaries...etc. Nothing can replace it. The new Lundy's crew is trying very hard - they were very hospitable and caring. Service was very nice....but the night we were there the food just didn't cut it unfortunately. Food was good....not fantastic....not terrible at all. We drove 1 1/2 hours to go there - if it wasn't so far, we would go again and relive our memories. We loved the magnificent old photo of the original Lundy's hanging opposite the bar. I wish they had more memorabilia from the old place.

best meal so far in 2025!! the Shore dinner is delicious and a great value. We opted for the Swordfish and Chicken with great sides and apps. We shared oysters and baked clams, as well as RI Calamari and Spaghetti and clams.Every dish was delicious and ohh those biscuits and deserts, just delicious food

Service was very accommodating. Food excellent. Nice space. Would definitely return. Sides did not come out with our mains. But they comped our corkage fee which was the right thing to do. And we tipped accordingly.
