A very friendly and inviting casual restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent.
Because it was highly recommended my expectations may have been to high. Everything was good. I had hoped for and expected more. Bertuccis would have been about the same. If you go, don't get confused by parking signs. Go ahead and park in back. Don't let the entrance discourage you, it is nice, clean and modern inside.
Excellent food with an interesting menu (Italian and Latin dishes). Service was friendly and capable. We were visiting from another area, but if we lived nearby Luna's would be a regular for us. Highly recommend.
The food was wonderful: from the empanadas to the chicken parm!
Very clean, friendly service. my husband had the short ribs and he really liked them. Per glass wine prices were a little steep.
Great food in a low key environment. A gem to find!
Very nice surprise for us on Valentine’s Day for a couple of out of towners. Food excellent and very attentive service.
Wonderful valentines. Polite service, free cake!
Really great food here, love the breakfast menu. And dinner menu was very good too. Service was excellent.
All 4 meals came back incorrectly
Waitress was awful
Loud hip hop music in an Italian Resturant really doesn’t work.
We sent one steak back because it was well
Done although we ordered it rare. No one ever apologized and it took over a half hour for a new one to come out. Everyone else was already done eating. Then one of our friends ordered broccoli as one of his sides. Came back with string beans. When asked for broccoli instead. They brought it over then had a nerve to charge us $5 for a side that was supposed to come with my meal. Also a $5 charge for salad dressing. Are you kidding me?!!! Will never go back.
The wait staff and food were excellent! Quick service with a big menu and friendly staff!
Dinner before the show? Or so we thought... We waited a full hour for food, with a recurring and standing promise of "just 5 more minutes." I haven't walked out of a restaurant in thirty years! Sadly, the Burger King next door served us in two minutes. Would NOT recommend.
Food was very good; obviously made to order, and very reasonably priced.
Dined here before seeing Cirque Du Soleil at Suffolk Downs. It seems pretty new...no liquor license yet...but the staff was very friendly, the service was great and the food was very flavorful.
Located in East Boston and a real local restaurant what a treat and such a deal for steak, you will not be disappointed. Can't wait to come back to Luna's
The pasta was amazing! Worth the trip. The menu had enough options to please anyone. Servings were generous, and perfectly done. I would recommend them to anyone.
We were visiting Boston and stayed near Luna’s. First evening in town we ate dinner at Luna’s and just loved the food. Our meals were delicious and service was good. So good that we decided to go the last night in town because we knew we would have another good meal. Salmon dish was to die for.
We very much enjoyed the food - good portions, well prepared and flavorful. What we did not realize is that the drinks listed on the menu were non-alcoholic. We were looking forward to wine with dinner and were disappointed.
We went to Luna’s before the cirque du soleil show on Saturday night. We had the honey chipotle wings as an app which was a 10/10 and so was the bread that came with cinnamon butter. My date ordered the chicken parm which was also a 10/10 while I ordered the lobster raviolis. The raviolis themselves were amazing and the plate came with extra lobster on top. It was just far too saucy for my liking. The server Jose was very friendly and attentive so overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone in eastie.
Found on Open Table went for lunch, ordered buffalo wings and my friend ordered Italian panini. The wings were perfect and the panini was big and stuffed with Italian cold cuts and a good amount of fries. It was quiet but the server was very nice and service was great.
We arrived for our reservation at 11. We ordered drinks and our food and we didn’t get our food until 12:10pm. Over an hour wait for food.
Food was delicious but the wait was horrible.
Went here For a quick meal as it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Had a margarita and a couple of apps for my meal as I'm vegetarian. The bill was 52 dollars with tip, way too expensive for the quality and service. I didn't even get a refill on my chips and had to pay for a tiny side of guacamole. Probably better if you eat meat, way more choices.
We visited Luna's on our way to the airport, very convenient. French fries were excellent, salads OK.
Amazing! Loved the homemade butter! Mashed potatoes were great, and the children's ziti was good enough that adults should order it. The in Restaurant menu seems to be larger than online too, I didn't see the amazing potato skins on the online menu.
Was so disappointed, had heard great things and called ahead to confirm hours because I'd seen some conflicting times online. They told me they opened at 9am and that's what time I made the reservation since we were taking a client to breakfast. We showed up at 9am and even though the doors had an "open" sign, they were locked. I could see a vacuum inside but chairs were still stacked on tables and no one could be found. We waited 10 mins and even tried calling. No answer. Was so embarrassed to have that happen with a client. Even worse, the sign with their hours painted on the door advertises that they open at 7am!
My sister, brother-in-law and I recently visited Luna's for brunch. Based on previous OpenTable & Yelp diner reviews, we booked Luna's for our Easter meal. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and it will definitely not be the last. We were warmly greeted by Jose and his staff. The restaurant is immaculate, the food is excellent, the service is outstanding and the prices are quite reasonable. We each had the Baked Cod Fish Florentine over a bed of spinach with choice of potato and veggies. Our meals were cooked from scratch to perfection with just the right amount of seasonings. The warm variety of rolls and cinnamon spiced butter was quite delicious...almost a meal in itself. Luna's is now on our list as a "must go to restaurant" whenever the opportunity presents itself. This is clearly a neighborhood gem, and we wish Luna's continued success. Great job Luna's!
The food at Lucas is excellent! It was our first visit. The workers are very personable and helpful in regards to the menu. We had the calamari for an appetizer. My husband had the lobster raviolis and I had the paella. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We both agreed that we will return.
Be aware, they do not have a liquor licensed. That may be a showstopper for some, but we didn't care.
My wife and I went to Luna's for our Valentines dinner on a Sunday after Valentines Day.
The service was fantastic as well as the menu. The prices were very good and the food was GREAT! Looking at the menu on line showed many choices and we will be back soon for a Birthday as well as Mothers Day Brunch.
We had a great time and it's nice to see the chef make it out to all the tables to ask how everything was.
We are telling all of our friends and family what a fine place Luna's is
I went to Luna’s because of the reviews And I am glad I did. The service was great and so was the food. We were waiting for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel and they even offered to drive us back. I must admit that dining without wine is not part of my culture but I survived and the food was worth the sacrifice!
We were hungry and well satisfied. I had the paella, and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ingredients.
This is a fantastic restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back!!
