And for the Luna Rosa family, the heart of our home has always been the kitchen. No matter how large or small the gathering, our family and friends tend to converge there.
Our kitchen is the place where we solve the world’s problems, engage in thoughtful conversation and share a hearty laugh. With a pot of the family gravy simmering on the stove, fresh bread on the counter and olive oil for dipping, it’s a place of happiness, comfort and serenity.

For the Mauldin location, we were able to carve out some space for the thing that our community was sorely missing, a live music venue. Although modest in size, our stage has already made a name for itself catering to a great selection of jazz artist and more. We look forward to supporting our local musical community.

Here at Luna Rosa Gelato Bar & Restaurant, we all welcome our new family members to feel like guest in our own homes. So relax. Enjoy your meal. And feel the warmth.

Our outside covered patio and bar seating seats 30 and can be converted to a standing cocktail setting when needed. Playlist music can be customized for your outside event. Our bar lounge is another great space for a cocktail setup with an 85 inch high def TV to broadcast your favorite events and plenty of room for buffet style service and socializing with friends. Our main dinning room can comfortably seat over 75 people with a small stage that showcases live jazz, blue, acoustic cafe style music and more. This area is perfect for rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, reunion parties, wine dinners and more. A personal address system is available upon request with a wireless microphone for announcements. All of this against the back drop of a wall to wall black and white canvas of the Brooklyn bridge and skyline of New York City. This space was designed to transport you out of town. Enjoy

    We loved Luna Rosa! They had a quiet acoustic guitar player set up (Friday night) who was very pleasant and matched the ambiance of the restaurant. Our food was very good and their drink menu was outstanding! My husband had two delicious cocktails. We will make this a regular date night spot.

    Luna Rosa is a must try! Wasn’t sure what to expect from the little restaurant but walked in and it had more space than I assumed. The food was so freaking good! Stuffed mushrooms were on point. And my entree was delicious as well :)

    We enjoyed Luna Rosa. Comfortable casual dining and relaxing atmosphere. Celebrated 60th birthday and cake was delicious. Food very good and more importantly the birthday person LOVED everything.

    Food was cold coming out, stuffed mushrooms sauce was way too rich and hurt my party’s stomachs. Best part was the bread and gelato. Need better cooks. It was very embarrassing since it was Mother’s Day and I picked the restaurant. Will NOT be back. Threw my leftovers right in the trash 😞

    I have found this place online. Brought my family to have Sunday lunch. I was disappointed with the quality of the service and food. Plates are small but prices are not. If i compare this place with my past experiences at Oliven Garden, the franchise place is at least 10x better - price, food quality and service are much better.

    Overall good restaurant. It’s a small place so a bit noisy especially if seated next to large group. Wait staff was quick to move us to a more private spot. Drinks not the best. Gelato was amazing!! Food was very good. I would recommend. Service was better then average.

    Easter lunch. It was a brunch only but was not described when making reservation. Very small menu for brunch. Was not told price of brunch. Kids movie playing??? Why? Manager said he would play an adult movie, then started another Disney cartoon movie. Why is any movie in a restaurant like this? Ham was good.

    Lonnie was fantastic!!! Made wonderful suggestions on entrees and made a wonderful wine suggestion to pair with our meals. You don’t have to drive downtown to get fantastic Italian!

    The food is outstanding! Make sure to let them know if you are allergic to wheat, because they have you covered! Also make sure to try the gelato!

    We normally get Luna Rosa to go (we have young children) but we dined in this evening. There was live music and the food was great per-usual. Our waiter was very nice but we could tell they were short staffed. We waited a while for refills or for him to come back around to our table. Overall though, Luna Rosa is the best Italian on this side of Mauldin/Simpsonville.

    We were in town for the Bassmaster Classic Expo and had been working a booth all day. So the day was long and there was a large, energetic crowd so we had lots of noise all day. We needed somewhere to relax, have some good food and unwind. Luna Rosa fit the bill perfectly. Excellent service and excellent food. We really enjoyed it!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Luna Rosa in Mauldin! The service was top notch, and we never waited more than a few minutes for each course. The ambiance was nice and the food was tasty! Would highly recommend!

    Our dining experience was great except for the host. He sat us in the middle of the restaurant and my wife asked to be seated at a booth on the edge. He said they were all reserved but were empty and stayed empty our entire meal. He stated that we should have reserved a booth if thats what we wanted and there is nothing he could do. That wasn't an option on this app and after I said that he said again there's nothing I can do your server will be by soon and walked away. Other than that extremely odd situation the food was good and our server was great.

    The food here is consistently very good and cooked to order. It takes some time time for the Frozen Russians to be made, but are more than worth the wait. I have tried several entrees but have stuck with the shrimp fra diavolo the last few visits and will continue ordering it. If after any of the delicious appetizers you try and your entrees, you somehow manage to have space left, any one of the dessert choices will be the right one. Gelato is excellent as is the Tiramisu but, their Cannolis are the best I've had. The staff are always pleasant and they have live music on Fridays. This is the best overall restaurant my family has dined at since moving here from Long Island 6 years ago.

    From the moment we entered it was clear that the staff would be responsive and were genuinely interested in making sure our needs and interests were addressed. The food, a shrimp and pasta plate for her and lasagna for me, was fine, exactly as expected. We opted for gelato for dessert and it was very very good.
