We had a lovely experience with a very attentive waiter. The food was delicious and the restaurant itself is very cute and romantic.
Service very slow. One hour before we got our entrees and there was only about 10 clients.

Family gathering on Christmas night. Very cozy, quiet and great food and service. Broad variety of Italian food selections and reasonably priced. I would return
what a great night! the food was delicious! Service was great! and to top it off, they have a live soft jazz singer. It was the perfect night. They have a great wine list too! I highly recommend this place.
I felt like I found a hidden gem in NYC. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive, helpful and good at their jobs! You are in NYC so prices are high in general but this is the only reason for my 3 on the price category. If you are looking for cheap eats, then this is not for you, but if you are looking for great food, try it out!! You will not be sorry! We had a family meal that you cannot put a price tag on. Enjoy!!
Friends holiday dinner
Have been to the restaurant at least 5 previous times for lunch & dinner & always loved it. This time was different. No one took drink or food order until we asked. Friend ordered a salad with no dressing (oil & vinegar on the side). It came with dressing & she tasted it & told the waiter that she couldn’t eat it, because she is allergic to garlic. He never took it away or replaced it. We ended up sharing my dish, which was good!
We seek and enjoy small neighborhood restaurants, and this location is the definition of that. We enjoyed Classic Italian dishes like veal Parmesan and penne Bolognese, and a Branzino almost too pretty to eat. We love this This is a must try.
Kitchen was very slow as it appeared they over booked 2 large parties are we not prepared to handle the regular two, four & six people reservations.
Worst restaurant we have ever eaten at in NYC. Food was horrific. Service terrible. Expensive for what you get.
Excellent little Italian place, friendly service and really good food. Not fancy, just cozy and comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Fresh and tasty entrees, good salad and bread. Good place in the neighborhood to go for a meal
My daughter and I has a wonderful meal. The live music was right next to us but we enjoyed it. I ordered the Lasagna it was not as flavorful as I was wanting. I should have know because it was made with ground beef not italian sausage. More garlic and salt maybe? oh well....we ate it all!
I love this place best pasta with truffle
Luna is my place in Est side
Try eggplant parmigiana
Ravioli zucca the best ever ever
Food was not hot; it was lukewarm even though I specifically asked that the pasta be HOT!
Great food, priced right.
I have to say I Realy like this place food is outstanding service was very good as well
amazing food , fun staff , great service , priced appropriately . would recommend to anyone wanting a meal with drinks for under 40 bucks
Neighborhood gem...always good
I was part of a group of three. I found my house wine selection excellent and the service overall outstanding. I ordered lentil soup and chicken parmesan. The accompanying pasta was a bit too mushy, but overall the combination of pasta and chicken parmesan was very tasty. I truly enjoyed it. My wife ordered pasta vongole and was very disappointed. She said her pasta too was mushy and the clam sauce was very bland — very little clam taste and virtually no seasoning. Our guest ordered salmon which she barely touched, but the fish looked fresh and nicely prepared to me, and the accompanying vegetables looked well cooked. So overall, I give the food quality a “good” rating using an adjusted average of three persons. But we all agreed the service was truly extraordinary and the bread was very tasty. The garden is very attractive. We did not realize there was pretty nice live music up front. I will definitely come back.
Amazing homemade Italian. Had awesome meals before the Marathon and it helped me complete it! Each person at the table enjoyed their meal - all is homemade and the service was perfect.
Try eggplant parmigiana
Try ravioli zucca
Ask for desara eat at bar
I always enjoy dining at LP. The staff is friendly (and remember me), the food is good, the room is pretty. Be aware that there is often live music and the garden (when full) can be loud... so location of table is important. Alas, twice I have ordered and the wrong food arrived. The staff was very accommodating on both counts - with the bill and with a complimentary round of drinks. I will return and recommend LP to others - but more attention needs to be paid to special orders.
I love lunch menu at this place food is very fresh and they have fix menu 15$ lunch appetizer and main corse

One of my favorite place for brunch ! Service is very friendly and attentive ! Food is always yummy
Enjoyed the garden for a quiet brunch. Food was delicious and service was excellent.
The food was delicious and well presented. The wait staff friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant in the future.
this was my second meal, 4th visit. it was hard not to have the same thing because it was so good but i made myself. i hope to go back because there was a special that someone else had and she gave me her leftovers. i forgot it at my father's and well - let's just say he got them... I also need to try more desserts.
When we checked their menu on the Open Table site we saw they offered a daily menu very reasonably priced. The text was "daily menu" and did not see any exclusion for the week-end. The menu given to us at the restaurant also showed Daily Prix Fix (spelled Prefex) Menu did not mention "excluding Sunday or week-end or Monday-Friday, etc." . The server told us it was not possible to order from this menu during the week-end. We had to order from the regular menu or the brunch special menu. The Food served was at best "passable". These are the reasons I checked "I do not recommend" this restaurant.
The back patio is enclosed but gets beautiful light. We happened to dine while two very large groups were there, so probably a bit noisier than usual. Our dishes: a very fresh fish, mushroom ravioli with a rich creamy sauce, surprisingly deep flavor on a good ol' spaghetti with homemade meatballs. The skirt steak was just right med-rare, but surprised that it came out as slices of steak instead of a whole piece. Served by a nice but very novice waiter. We'd be happy to return.
