Luna Muna means "The House of The Moon" our name is a mixed of spanish and garífuna language. We are a restaurant motivated by three pillars: Nature, Art & Gastronomy. When you visit us you will be surrounded by trees, birds, and the beach just a few steps away. That makes our restaurant the best spot for sunsets.
Our gastronomy involves natural and homemade ingredients that are carefully picked by our Chef Alex Flores who has inspired his menu from the different gastronomies around the world. You will find some asian, italian, spanish american and local flavors that gives a variety that everyone will enjoy, he also offers a section of vegan and vegeterian dishes.
The bar has a signature cocktail list made by our in-house mixologists, they added tropical, citric and spicy flavors you can't miss.

We were SO disappointed in Luna Muna! It was beautiful to look at, but that was the only positive! They had a limited menu - out of chicken (for the Farm Salad and offered NO substitutions), out of certain vegetables, only offered some desserts. The food we did receive tasted just “ok” (tuna tartar appetizer, beet & kale salad, and Surf and Turf) and the portions were small. For the HIGH price point, all of this was unsatisfactory. Additionally, service was spotty - at first almost too attentive, but no where to be found when we needed refills. We had to ask for a wine list. Finally, the sand fleas and mosquitoes were OUT OF HAND. We both sprayed with bug spray before - and during - dinner but ended up with dozens of bug bites! We will not return to this restaurant and will not hesitate to share our experience with others.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, dood and drinks. The entertainment was great. Will go eveey time we’re in Roatan!

We enjoyed the restaurant and ambiance so much on our first night here that we canceled prior plans and ate here a second time. Definitely recommend!

We celebrated our 14th year Anniversary at Luna Muna and we were not disappointed. Our meals were delicious and service was 10 out of 10. Beautiful restaurant with a great staff! Thank you!!

The best meal we’ve had on the island, after coming for 6+ years! The service is incredible and the food is amazing. Also, probably the most romantic place on the island!!

The food was amazing, the place is beautiful, and the service was amazing. Our server Jorge J was amazing. We were given the royal treatment when we came in and Jorge was great at guiding us on drinks, entrees, even dessert. I cannot say enough good things about him. Thanks to him our experience was made all the much better. I had the tortellini and OMG yum! My companion had the lobster and of course I HAD to taste it and OMG, so good. I will definitely be back for more yummy eats, and hopefully Jorge is there again! Thanks Luna Muna for a great time, a great view, great cocktails and of course, great food!!

The ambiance was incredible. We dined by the beach. Our waiter Marvin was great. The drinks and food were fantastic. Will definitely go again before we leave the island.

Our dinner plans or purpose was Arisleidy birthday and a note was sent to you long time ago;happy birthday Arisleidy in a small cake and that never showed up,I’ll be visiting you since 2023 and this time we spent more than $500.00 us Dollars and we are not happy about that,please pay more attention to your messages and make sure that the client is not forgotten about anything that is sent by message in advance
