Restaurant had a very limited menu not the same as shown in Ooen Table. Good location and service
Restaurant didnt show our reservation even though confirmed on OpenTable. They had tables available so no issue for us but should probably be investigated to ensure no issue for future patrons.
We picked this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dining after looking at the menu online showing steaks and various entrees. When we arrived, the menu read, street tacos and sliders. When we asked our server about the change, he told us "we've been meaning to change that" and went on. We ordered a round of drinks that took forever to receive and left.
This place is a joke! The menu online does not match the real menu in any way. I have never been more disappointed in a dinner reservation through OpenTable than this place. Please warn others that dinner will be a big disappointment - shame on this establishment.....
Went to Luna for the first time last weekend
Heard great things about it
We had the deluxe mixed grill
It was wonderful and enough food for us to take some home, loved the homemade torillas too
The blended margarita was so yummy and strong!
The menu in the restaurant was nothing like the menu listed on yelp.
We were seated at the far end of a very noisy sports bar, away from a large private party of political campaign workers. All that was on the food menu were 3 kinds of tacos, 3 kinds of sliders, 4 sides and 1 entree, a filet mignon. There was one waitperson and one bartender. All of the food was average or below. The wait staff was very helpful. I would not recommend going here if you want a restaurant experience.
Service was very good but the filets we ordered we over cooked and lacked flavor. Deviled eggs were tasty as an appetizer and the chocolate chip dessert was a perfect portion. Sadly The steak just drug down the rest of the meal.
The photos on Open Table looked appealing, as did the menu, but it varied quite significantly when I got to the restaurant. First off, the bartender seemed a bit clueless that I had a reservation, and then gave me a menu that was very limited. I'd liken it to a post-theater menu where it's mostly small bites and appetizers. Just not what I was expecting. Food was serviceable, but not exceptional
My gf and I went to Luna for our Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was a little slow at first but our waiters Nick and Latonya went over and beyond to accommodate us. The food was good and not expensive at all. A great staff with helpful attitudes will always bring about a positive dining experience
As much as I wanted Luna to be good, I can't honestly say this. Me and my wife got a rare date night away from the kids and I chose luna. I had seen the space from the street and thought it looked pretty nice, so we gave it a shot. First, we made reservations, but when we walked in there was no host to check in with. We asked the hotel host and he said just to go on in. There was a large group of men at the bar being a little rowdy, so the bartender (aka the only staff in the whole place) was busy. We checked in with him and he just said to sit wherever. He was nice and courteous, but severely overworked due to no other staff. He came and took our drink order, then delivered it back to us in ample time...but that was the only thing that was decent as far as times go. We had long finished our cocktails before the hotel host happened to walk past us and asked us if we needed anything. So I stated that we needed someone to take our order. So he did himself. Me and my wife both had the filet and mashed potatoes because that was pretty much the only dinner item on the extremely limited menu. He also relayed our drink order back to the bartender. Thankfully, the bartender covered our first drink because he recognized that things were taking long. Still, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Mind you, this was only a 6oz filet and there was probably only 1 other table eating here. We got our food and started eating, but my wife couldn't eat more than 1 bite of her steak. It tasted very bland and the texture was just mushy. The tiny bit of bacon on top was the only flavor on the whole plate....and it was only about an inch long portion...not even a whole strip. So, the food was a major letdown. Also, the same hotel host walked by and again checked in on us...we had been waiting for our check, so he handled the transaction (not Luna staff). So, the night was a major waste and we wont be returning. It has so much potential, but missed every mark for us.
