I don’t usually critique where I eat but for the price we paid for our meal for 4 I felt compelled. I love Giada have been a fan for years. I have many of her cook books. I think the recipes were probably very good but the quantity of salt in the dishes my husband and I shared were so over the top I couldn’t believe it. I actually add Maldon finishing salt to almost everything I cook do I understand how salt enhances food. That said the lemon pasta and the scallop risotto were close to inedible due to salt content. The lemon pasta was stone cold . The pancetta in the arugula salad was so over fried??? Maybe sauté??? To being like consistency of jerky. Sorry to be so frank but I am just being honest. The servers were attentive but lead conversation with the food is so good I didn’t know what to say without causing alarm. Didn’t seem approachable and very busy dropped things very quickly at the table.

We had a slow start and for a bit Felt ignored. We were heee celebrating our 54th anniversary and we were greeted quite graciously but i ordered a bottle of wine and everyone disappeared for quite a long time. Eventually they came to tell me they did not have that wine and would i pick something else. I did and that took time as well. But once that was all straightened out this place was wonderful. Great food. Great service and they went way overboard to make up for the slow start. Even with a rocky beginning i give this place. A great review

Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back! We had the Lemon Spaghetti, bacon wrapped dates, arugula salad and to top it off we had Tiramisu. All of it was incredible!

I booked dinner for two, as a gift, for my mom and her husband for her 80th birthday. They had the most lovely dinner. My mom and Geoff said the food & service were both exceptional. They had lemon cream spaghetti with prawns & chicken piccata. Delicious! They shared the best lemon Caesar’s salad ever & chocolate carmel chip & lemon cookies. The servers and team treated them so well! They felt like they were truly waiting to make their evening simply the best in every way. And what an evening it was! A BIG thanks to the team there. We highly recommend Luna by Giada.

This is my second time dining here. The first time my food was a 7/10 but the service was amazing. Again this time the service was 10/10. The food however was 3/10 at best. My caprese salad was amazing and one of the best I have had. The fritto misto was dry and very over cooked along with the lobster I added to my pasta. I did order a side of lemon smashed potatoes, and I did not care for them, nor my guest; however, my did. They had a very strong lemon and salt flavor, so I recommend them if you really like lemon on your potatoes. Overall I was disappointed in the food because my entree and appetizer were both over cooked and the food is not cheap. The ambiance and service is nice.

I get that Giada always talks about liking Lemon and parm as ingredients but it was taken to annoying level on several of the dishes we had. First off, the Cesar Salad had parm clumped up on the lettuce throughout. The signature dish spaghetti was over powering with lemon flavor towards the end. An issue with service is the waitress casually asked if we wanted a few more shrimp and scallops on our main dishes and that ended up being $40 extra! She needed to make sure we understood it almost doubled the price of the spaghetti. Seems like the restaurant pushes their staff to upcharge. The focaccia bread was fantastic. The rissoto was outstanding. The price paid ($250 before tip) was thoroughly disappointing for only half of the meal being tasty.
