Owner/ hostess makes it special.
Service not good today. We had to ask for everything twice. Food was good, but tourists are really loud.
Wonderful as usual!
Our experiences with Luna Blu have been wonderful. The kitchen is creative and food is well-prepared and presented. The staff is attentive and informed. The views are incomparable. While small it is not cramped and made cozy with blankets to ward-off a chill and heaters on cool wintry evenings. We recently celebrated a birthday dinner there and could not have been more pleased.
Combines great food with a beautiful view right on the water....and mostly shaded. Italian delights are wonderful, but so is the burger. Ice cream profiteroles are a must!
WE had a really dining experience at Luna Blu. I hadn't been there for more than a year and it was great to go back. Sat out in the back with a gorgeous view of SF at sunset..
I had the squid ink pasta special and with fiddleheads and shrimp and it was perfectly done.. I almost licked the plate!! My friend had the linguini and clams and she, too, ate every bite...
Renzo does a great job there.. Can't wait to go back again!!
On the deck with a view of San Francisco at sundown. Very nice!
Excellent food and service. This was our first visit, and we definitely plan to return.
Get together with special friends
We had excellent service from Kristen
When I made the online reservation I made a note requesting an indoor table with a view -- and sure enough, they honored my request. We had a very comfortable table just inside where we could see the boats bobbing on the bay. The service was very attentive but not pushy. All 5 of us were happy with our food. The only complaint was with the bartender. The drinks were mostly ice and not very good.
Served a Delicious lunch for seven. No rushing and great service. Enjoyed by all!
After a very busy day, I enjoyed Easter dinner at Luna Blu with three friends--we sat outside with an opportunity to enjoy the amazing SF Bay view along with delicious food. We shared a calamari and zucchini appetizer (Delicious--very lightly breaded), each had a salad (good, but not over-the-moon) and I had the the sea bass special-it was perfectly done with a Sicilian-style sauce of tomatoes, black olives and capers. All enjoyed their meals and the service was spot on: attentive but not intrusive, and even on Easter we were encourage to enjoy our spot by the sea!
Everything was delicious and the service could not have been better. The hostess noticed our slight disappointment, upon being seated, that we wouldn't be outside on the lovely patio. When it was time for dessert, she stopped by to say an outdoor table had opened up and asked if we would we like to move out there for the last stage of our meal. It was the perfect end to a perfect birthday dinner. Good cocktails too!
Special as always.
Very good food. The risotto was the best!
Was recommended as a romantic spot. Not so. Overpriced for what we received.
We love this restaurant. The food is delicious. We really love sitting outside the most.
Definitely worth going. It’s small I recommend reservations on the weekends
Even with the rain coming down in buckets, sitting on the enclosed (heated!) patio with a great view of the Bay was wonderful. The food here is consistently good. Our waiter, when asked what entrees he likes, replied "everything is great". While probably true, that's just not helpful. Otherwise, the service was excellent. They do have a nice wine list, but we brought a bottle and paid the $25 (a little steep?) corkage.
Favorite restaurant in sf hands down
Had a delightful evening with friends on a chilly March evening. Outside heaters and blankets were supplied...very cozy. Excellent food and very good service.
Always great. Best service. Reliably good time. Great view.
Just moved to Belvedere a few months ago. We have been to all downtown restaurants and this is the BEST. Bravo
Husband’s birthday celebration
Excellent food; have been here many times. Never disappoints.
Folks here are very friendly. View from the deck is great and the indoor seating is cozy and not too loud. Food pretty average. Nothing extraordinary but nonetheless, good.
Love Dining here. Always come for birthdays with girlfriends
Had the BEST burrata ever...and best ravioli! They are both must haves from the menu!
Nice little restaurant in a nice little town. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The gnocchi sauce had a wonderful depth of flavor and the lemon cloud dessert was light and tasty.
One of the best restuarant, if not the best in Tiburon. Would highly recommend
This jewel of location & atmosphere to anyone to share with their love ones ❤️ 🇮🇹🇬🇧
I tried the cioppino and my friend had the ravioli. The cioppino was good but I can’t stay that it was the best I’ve had. The ravioli was very good, the pasta was pillowy and the stuffing was soft and light. It was my friend’s birthday so they brought her a slice of tiramisu with a candle which sweet of them. What is great about this place is the ambiance. It’s a cute little restaurant with an adorable deck over the bay.
I just love Luna Blu. It's such a terrific restaurant in every way possible. Very friendly owners who are there to greet you, small venue, fantastic food, great wait staff. Can't wait to go back!
Great little spot on the water, great food and service.
Renzo and his lovely wife have a wonderful restaurant with amazing food!
We had a wonderful lunch date for our 7th anniversary.
We ate outside with a view of the bay. I had the cioppino fish stew in a mildly spicy tomato broth. My wife had a salmon Cesar salad. The Chardonnay wine was delicious.
Overall, a very good experience. The service and food were very good. The hostess was very accommodating and we got a warm table side visit from the executive chef/owner. I highly recommend this this restaurant for very good food and service!!!
Went there for a post Valentine’s Day date and it was very nice. The wait staff was friendly and pretty quick. The food was delicious, the beer and wine was good. I wished I could try more of the menu because it all looked good. A little pricy but it is tiburon so pretty par for the course.
Unlike what some reported that they gave too much food - that was not what we experienced. In addition, the food was salty. If you plan to visit, ask the server to hold off the salt, especially on the French fries.
Coming back to Luna Blu after they were closed during January for vacation. Valentine’s Day Speciall Dinner. My bride had a glass of Masi Masianco Pinot Grigio and I had Donnafugata Sedara from Sicily. She had the Insalata di Campo (marinted veggies like eggplant and artichoke over greens with a bit a goat cheese. I had the Polip e Gamberetti served in a bowl of radicchio leaves. Both very nice.
We had the Cuori d’Aragosta. (beet heart-shaped pasta with lobster filling) and a red sauce.
And the topper was a slice of Spumone Siciliano.
Welcome back Crystal and Renzo! Glad you went on vacation. Glad you came back re-energized and all your customers have benefitted.
We decided to visit Luna for Valentines Day 2018. We had a reservation for two on the outside patio, right in the corner. It was rather cold outside, but there were two outdoor fireplaces that kept the temperature very comfortable (there were even blankets at the tables just in case). The pasta with lobster was excellent, as was the Chilean sea bass and filet mignon wrapped in bacon. Parking was also almost fully validated across the street. Can’t go wrong here!
Everyone and everything was great. We are there on Saturday and came back on Monday.
Crystal and Rezo are fabulous as chef and host.
We are thinking of taking some friends there Thursday.
