Plenty of heaters and a blanket on each chair, so even on the chilliest of nights it's cozy on the deck. Delicious food and a full bar (how they manage in such a tight space is amazing). Perfect for before or after a movie across the street. We had no trouble finding parking, but there is also a pay lot across the street. Work up an appetite with a stroll along the gorgeous waterfront with epic SF Bay and Golden Gate views.
I really love the food here. It was absolutely delicious and we had fantastic service. The staff was really nice and attentive. The only thing we didn’t love were the very tiny portions and high prices. I don’t mind spending money on a good dinner, but I don’t expect to still be hungry afterward. The ravioli and salmon dishes were tiny. Also, they charged us for hot water as well as each dinner roll. We thought that was silly. Overall we loved this place, though.
My husband and I came here for a night out without kids. My company was treating us, so we ordered and ate plenty. We had reserved a table for 2 at 4:30, so the restaurant was not yet crowded. The hostess was extremely warm and welcoming, and seated us next to the waterfront. As soon as the sun dipped down, she had blankets on hand to keep me warm, and turned on the heat lamp when asked. Our waitress was extremely friendly, and provided the perfect amount of attention- enough so we were never wanting, yet we were able to really enjoy each other's company. I ordered the caprese salad and my husband ordered the crab bisque soup. I really enjoyed the salad, but my husband felt the soup was good, but not the best he has had. Next I ordered the burrata on toast. The toast was really nice, and the mushroom sauce on top added a little flavor, but I enjoy burrata more when it is fresh rather than melted. My husband really enjoyed the calamari. For the main course, I ordered the spinach ravioli with marinara and butter sage sauce, and this was excellent. I left one piece to take home so I could save room for dessert, but then promptly ate that piece immediately on arriving home. My husband ordered 2 entrees- one was a special with seafood and pasta, and the other was the steak with gorgonzola sauce. Per my husband, both were excellent but he felt the steak was the best he ever had. And he usually doesn't like gorgonzola! For dessert we had the lemon mousse, which was divine. Overall, we were very happy we chose LunaBlu for our special treat, and will definitely come back again.
Hostess very Friendly, and considerate. When the tables on the deck were all booked when we ate. After she suggested we finish are drinks at the now free view of the city from Tiburon. she gave me a soft blanket to use if I needed. It was unexpectedly romantic and fun.
Simply a perfect evening. I took my bride out on a date to celebrate adding a new client. Luna Blu is one of our favorite restaurants. Sunday night fell into the category of “it doesn’t get any better than this!” I made my reservation for 6;45 and noted I’d like 6;30 if it opened up. I got a call from one of the owners, Crystal, and she said she could do 6:30 but that the service might be a bit less because of so many people were scheduled fo that time. But everything was spot on from the time we we walked in. We were a few minutes early for our 6:30 reservation. We were greeted warmly at the door by the greeter and got a good smile and hello from one of regular waiters Elvin. We were brought right to our outside table. It was sunny and warm with a great view of San Francisco. We pulled our meal plan from the specials menu (but it was hard not to order the eggplant parm). We asked Elvin for recommendations for an Italian white wine and he gave us two. My bride chose the Bottega Pinot Grigio and I tried the Fuedo Maccari Grillo (a big wine, perfectly balanced).
Our first course was sharing the Bresaola con fighi that was served in an endive leaf. IDK if it was polite but I piled goodies (like the fig stuffed with cheese) on top of each my two leaves and ate ‘em in hand like a mini taco. Darn good!
We made sharing the Crab Bisque as our second course. Yummy... crab, roasted red pepper, chicken stock, cream were our guesses, with bits of crab to delight our palate.
Our third course was Fettucini Mare e Mon (I remember this being called Paglia e Fieno (Hay and Grass) with a combo of regular and spinach pasta) with perfectly cooked small shrimp. Ahhhh!
To finish it was a chocolate cannoli and a ricotta one with lemon. Both great, but I like the chocolate bits in the ricotta better, that’s just me.
A little espresso and we were out by 7:30

I brought my brother there for his birthday. It was a great night. We sat on the deck. The service was attentive. The food was excellent. I would totally recommend this place. The outside dining is a small area so if you want to sit outside, book ahead. I booked 2 days ahead and it was fine.
We were staying in Sausalito at Cavallo Point for our 20th anniversary. We were so disappointed. at the restaurant at Cavallo we decided to venture out to Tiberon and eat outside at Luna Blue. We are so glad we did! Our meals from start to finish were wonderful. The outdoor dining looking over the marina was. comfortable and lovely. Our waiter was responsive friendly and so helpful making for a memorable dining experience. We will certainly return here!
I thought the food was divine. I chose the restaurant after reading a bunch of reviews online, and by looking at the menu beforehand. I wanted something a little more special than usual because my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I liked the special touch of a blanket to have on my legs as well as the heaters, as the evening air is a bit chilly. I was warm enough in my sleeveless short dress because of that. I did feel, however, that the waiters weren't as attentive as they could have been. I wished there was bread served with the soup, but not once did our waiter come by or glance over at us to see if we were doing alright, nor did any other waiter if it wasn't their table. I wish service staff would be more of a team and help each other out by glancing around to see if anyone needs anything. Also, our water-glasses weren't filled once during the whole evening. These things wouldn't prevent me from coming back; like I said, the food was amazing.
The food was wonderful, the recommend wine excellent and reasonably priced, and they gave use plenty of time to eat on a Saturday evening (7:30 to 9:15). The service was unobtrusive. All of this is rare these days, especially for restaurants in similar locations. What a pleasant surprise!
