It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I got to say I was pleasantly surprised all the food was delicious and there was to s of variety... a taste for every palate. Definitely coming back

The buffet was good. There were lots of choices. The shrimp did not look too fresh, so I skipped them. The crab legs were good and there was plenty. Really great chocolate chip cookies . Don't miss the bananas foster! Great prime rib and fantastic carnitas tacos. Adults were $35, which included champagne or mimosas, kids were $21. My kids did not eat much, mostly donuts, pasta, bacon and fruit, but they really like it, so it's worth it to us.

Service was great. Manager even stopped by to converse and check up on us. 1st time there but definitely won’t be the last

It was not worth 50 a person!!! There were loud, obnoxious drunks everywhere, too many people, not enough food!
They ran out of chicken and guacamole!!!
I will not waste so much money next Easter!!

Price went up $10 from previous Easter brunch. They don't know how to make sushi. There were no beans on the line. It was too noisy. Not sure if we will return.

I had a good bye dinner party for my father here and let me tell you the service was the best I’ve ever received. My family left feeling so happy. All the waiters came and congratulated my father. It was truly a special moment. The food is also spectacular! I will now be a life long customer

Our first time here, We came to celebrate my husband birthday we had a romantic dinner out in the patio the view was as perfect . Food was delicious service was great. We will definitely come back on our next special occasion.

It was a great place for brunch and bottomless mimosas! We were celebrating Brunch with the "Bride to Be." The staff was very attentive and acknowledged our special occasion. Siting in the patio was a great choice and it was much more intimate for our party because there were not as much people outside than it was inside.

food is good, various Latin dishes, lot of variety with plenty of flavors. However it is on the pricy side, for a brunch with mimosas it comes out to around $45 per person not including tip.

Luminarias is my family's GO-TO for special occasions. We have been celebrating life's special moments here for over 10 years and in that time we are most please to see familiar faces that have been there to share these moments. The staff is very friendly and they do an excellent job of making you feel happy and welcomed.

I love that the hostess gave my husband and I options on where we would like to sit. It was our first time there. We were celebrating our 7 yr wedding anniversary. We had a great time. From The service to the food was awesome. Very elegant , perfect for our special occasion.

Usually the food is very tasty and flavorful, but that night it was rather bland and unseasoned. Hopefully it was just an off day or the regular cook was out.

Beautiful setting, indoor and outdoor! Food was delicious, order the tortilla soup lots of veggies with a rich chicken broth. My favorite the luminarias margarita and luminarias chicken. Customer service excited my expectations and was truly outsanding. Thank you Daysi L for your service and acomodating my request. I should return soon 🤗

I got married at Luminarias, and it was a wonderful experience, and we were treated, and catered to like kings, and queens. I was so impressed that I decided to take my wife back there to revisit the location where we had such a fantastic wedding experience, for Valentines dinner. Everything was fine, we were seated at our table around 09:00 PM like we had scheduled. We had finished our first 2 courses of the featured 4 course meal, and was awaiting our main course, and things suddenly turned very troubling. After waiting at least 30 minutes or more, a waiter told us our food would be served shortly. Needless to say another 20 minutes passes by, and again we were told our food should be out shortly. Now it is approaching almost 10:00 PM. I noticed that several guest who had been seated after us were enjoying their main course, and I stopped the waiter, and let him know that we were seeing guest eating that had been seated after us. I was then told that there was an accident with our food, it had been dropped, and would have to be prepared again, and it would certainly be out soon. I then told the waiter we would not wait any longer, and to bring the check. A floor manager then approached us apologizing, and offered us a free glass of champagne, and his apologies for the delay. I drank the free champagne, and then told him to box our food to go, but we would not be waiting any longer. They brought us the food boxed, and gave my wife 6 beautiful long stem roses, and also deducted the price of one of the meals. Needless to say our Valentines date was ruined at this time, and even if they had given us both meals for free nothing could reverse the disappointment we were feeling. The whole experience left me wondering if it was the fact that Luminarias is a place themed to Hispanic, and Mexican fare, and we are BLACK, and from what I could tell, the only people of BLACK heritage in the place. We were ignored, and not treated as equals. Never again will I set foot there.

Great place for couples, families, and groups. Mine and my husband's favorite place to dine when we want to dine just the two of us. Food is great, atmosphere is calm Monday thru Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays there's a dj. The reason we keep coming back is because of the fried ice cream. It's got to be our fave!

Very pleasant and accommodating staff, Good food and ambiance, would definitely go back especially fridays for the live band and Dancing

I have no idea how the food was. We stood at the entrance for 5 minutes and were ignored. After that we walked out. Won’t be back.

I used to LOVE Luminarias and had made it a birthday destination for MANY years; however the Mariachi is no longer part of the brunch experience and the price of brunch increased a lot! So they cheat you out of live music and increase the price, that’s not very savvy! There was also no music playing in the dinning rooms, only where the food was sitting. The food and service was exceptional! I would gladly pay the huge price hike, if the mariachi was still available. I highly doubt we’ll return.

Had a large party. The restaurant was able to quickly adjust. We were seated right away. Constant flow of food and drinks. The server Jose was great and the manager Ignacio was amazing. Huge variety of food for brunch. Love their hand-made tortillas and fresh grilled fajitas.

Complimentary chips and salsa were awesome. Friendly service. We had the lunch combo 1 & 2, which were pretty good (I personally liked the carne asada tacos and chile rellano. Beautiful restaurant inside and out. You can see CSULA from the restaurant.
