The location was good but the service was not. I had a reservation for later in the evening, and sat down immediately upon arrival, but no one came to the table for almost 15 minutes. I watched two servers bus and clean empty tables and make eye contact with each other about who was going to come to my table. The server that sat me finally came back and simply asked if I were ready to order: no recognition for the fact that I had been sitting there the entire time. When I inquired about the long wait when both had time to clean other tables, she provided a feeble excuse that there were only two of them when I saw at least one additional male server at other guests’ tables. The menu was not transparent for food allergens. When asked, the server said she didn’t know and had to get the other server. He was dismissive and when the food came he had to check to remember if he included the allergy note. Unfortunately, the dish I ordered that the server said was free of my allergens caused me to have an allergic reaction and have to take Benadryl. As many options for Indian and Nepalese food are available in the area, I would definitely go to another establishment with the hopes of having good food coupled with good service and better transparency of food allergens.

Very good service and meal. As a party of 3, we ordered 3 different mains but could have easily been fine with just 2 as portions were large.

Glad we booked as was really busy, even on a Sunday night. Nepalese food, and beer, never fails to impress, both were 5*

Een hele fijne ruime plek met goed eten en relaxte bediening. Mooi sfeer en fijne muziek. Ik was verrast. Ook goed betaalbaar.

We’ve traveled a lot and have never before had such amazing and delicious Indian food. From the naan, to the tikka masala to the tandoori shrimp. Just incredible on every level. Also great and friendly service.

We went for a New Year’s Eve dinner and they attended to us immediately and friendly. We took the 3-course meal for vegan and it was all da bomb! Indian and Nepalese cuisines are rich in flavour. Portions were fair for 2 persons although it was probably too much (maybe if you were that very hungry you’d ate them all clean). Don’t get me wrong, I would have done myself so - but my stomach capacity is not that big 🙈🙈. Oh only one downside of the flavour, to us they were all a little too sweet, even if we asked for a mildly hot. But it was so so sweet. We would have loved for some “kicks” with the hotness of the chili. Overall service was excellent. Thank you.

Lumbini was a wonderful experience. We were seated promptly and the host and servers were extremely approachable. The quality of the food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The restaurant was bustling and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Wonderful food and lovely service.
