Been frequenting Lu Lu since the second week they opened. Food has always been great and the service and servers have always been at higher level than a lot of other HHI restaurants . We average coming once a week. For us it is among the top 5 restaurants on the island

Enjoyed a group lunch on the very pleasant patio. Everyone enjoyed their food. Excellent quality ingredients. Save room for the cheese cake! Top notch service from Scott our waiter. My fish tacos were great but were served with a slice of cantaloupe (???).

Great adjustments to the menu as cooler weather is anticipated soon. No one mixes like Sam and Chef Scottie and his Team continue to achieve their highest standard for quality, interest, ingredients and taste. The scallops and salmon and the new swordfish are incredibly scrumptious but always order as an appetizer the “seafood salad”…you will come back!

We went to Lulu's for the chocolate souffle we read about. Unfortunately, its just another lava cake. They could modify their description a bit. :-) However, if you like lava cake, it was good. They offer a special bread service. The loaf is enough for four people and is just OK with minimal flavor, nothing over the top, but still worth ordering. I had the clam chowder, which was very good, especially when I added the bread. Mac and Cheese is average at best. Scallops were cold for some reason? The restaurant had interesting decor and ambiance. It was not a white table fancy type of place. People next to us enjoyed their steak. Service by Steve was outstanding. Overall, we might go back and try something else. I wouldn't take it off your list of a place to try.

This has become one of our favorite restaurants on Hilton Head Island. I had the salmon with fall vegetables /kale. My husband had their fried chicken. Both were fantastic. The owner is great and I sure hope they continue to do well.

Sunday brunch very nice and welcoming. Hostess paid special attention to wife's walker assisted needs outdoor seating. Menu was broad and interesting. Her crab cake poached egg & potatoes. I had fresh fish catch of pink salmon and asparagus. Both delicate & delightful. Jen was delightfully receptive owner as usual.

My wife and I have eaten here about 4 times. Food and service have been good. In this pastime, #5 was disappointing. Service was not up to par, and unless you have a booth, seating is miserable. They don't have a decent selection of wine, knowing that we brought our own bottle of wine.. they don't back the $40 + entrées with service or wine selection.

The food is excellent, although our service was unfortunately awful. The lady who served us slow and not attentive. She came to our table and would get half the drink order, come back with one drink at a time. Walk by us multiple times without checking in with us even though we were ready to order or needed water refills. She deliberately took only 2 drink orders and said she needs to come back for the third drink order….. besides the service the restaurant is one of the best in the area.

Fantastic restaurant with excellent food and attentive survive. Lobster ravioli was the best I’ve ever had and freshly made. Save room for the Godiva chocolate soufflé and vanilla gelato - we’ll worth it!

Vegetarians Beware: My husband is vegetarian. I called the restaurant prior to making a reservation to ask if they could accommodate him. I was told that they had a pasta with shrimp and tomatoes which could be made without shrimp. I made a reservation. We sat outside. I HUGE fan was blowing right at us. I asked to turn it down or off which they did. My salad was supposed to have Gorgonzola cheese on it. It did not. I had to ask and the server brought it. OK, mistakes happen! I had fish stew which was very good and my husband enjoyed the pasta. However, when the check came, he was charged the $31 that the pasta cost WITH shrimp. I went to the server who,rather lamely, said that the chef told him what to charge! He then did take off $10. I messaged the restaurant after this and never got a response. I guess they don’t care about people who are visiting, although we are here for 3 weeks each year. We won’t be back. I don’t like being taken advantage of.

Amazing food! Limited menu, but everything here is so delicious. Striped bass is delectable. Lobster ravioli is so flavorful. Portions are moderate, so no getting stuffed, but it leaves room for one of their fantastic desserts. The cheesecake is amazing. Service is very good - they took good care of allergy concerns and made us confident there were no issues. Love this place and the new Rose Hill location - will be coming back whenever we can.

A very cute, well appointed restaurant. Nice wine and cocktail selections. The bread appetizer is outstanding! Baked in a crock the presentation is lovely and it is buttery and delicious! We shared a Zoe salad which was also delicious. Zoe was also our server and she was so attentive and charming!! Seafood entrees were beautiful, hot and delicious. Did not expect such an outstanding meal in a relatively non-descript location. Definitely try Lulu Kitchen! Exceptional!

So we had a reservation and arrived on time. We were seated and served water and then sat 35 minutes with no waitress ever coming by to bring menu or drink orders. Water lady came by and refilled us twice and said someone would be with us soon. After 35 minutes we just got up and left. Can’t commit on food just service.

Mr.Perry, as this was a few weeks back it took me some time to investigate what had happened. My MOD said it was a miscommunication between him and the floor staff, as this is NOT how we run our restaurant on a daily basis and apologize immensely for the awful experience you had, Jen and I would like to extend to you a complimentary dinner for two, i know this wont make up for the missteps but hopefully give us a chance to show you our best side. It saddens me to give this place a low rating. And to be honest, the lack of air conditioning or any air movement at all ruined the whole meal for me. It was in the high 80s and super humid outside yet I think maybe was cooler than the inside. By the time the meal came I was so overheated I really had little interest in eating. Took a few bites and it was good but couldn’t really enjoy it. My husband enjoyed the chicken entree but by the time he was done we couldn’t get out fast enough. Felt like I had just run a marathon. Might be willing to give it another try when either the ac is fixed, if that was the problem, or cooler outside. Staff acknowledged how bad it was and blamed open kitchen but that didn’t help the fact that my dinner was ruined.

My only reason for 4 stars ambience was the ac did not seem to be working so it was warm in the restaurant. We truly enjoyed every bite of our meal and Scott was kind and attentive as a server. Made my kids feel like adults.

Wonderful late lunch at Lulu’s . The management was very accommodating and welcoming as we needed to shift our reservation time a bit later. Our waiter , Tyler was amazing. He made our day! So much personality, knowledgeable about the menu, recommended great cocktails and was consistently attentive. He is worth his weight in gold! The food was very good. We are foodies so do not fret that we did not give five stars. That’s reserved for Alinea, Oyster Oyster, Goosefoot. We started with Burrata and grilled peaches with prosciutto and a balsamic reduction.. The burratta was soft and light, the peaches tasted like well preserved canned peaches. Fresh peaches may have been a better choice- or perhaps not so grilled. The reduction was wonderful, tangy and sweet, an excellent compliment. We also ordered the lobster roll and catch of the day. The Lobster was good. Lots of fresh lobster! Not over dressed. The roll was not buttered and toasted however which was a little disappointing. The catch of the day was salmon which was cooked to perfection- medium rare and a nice portion. The catch of the day shouldn’t be salmon though!! Give us something more interesting! Our cocktails were delicious BTW. We will definitely be back. Thank you Lulu’s and Tyler.

We had such an amazing time at Lulu Kitchen. Our second time to the island and first time to Lulu. There was live entertainment from the Ross’ (top notch and so friendly). The wait staff was incredible. All of our needs were met. The food was unique and creative and we loved everything we ordered. The favorite was the bouillabaisse. We will definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic dinner. The peach Burrata was a fiesta for the taste buds. I was going to get the lobster ravioli after but it’s sooo hot out, and seemed heavy, so instead I ordered the crab cake appetizer for my entree. Absolutely perfect. Thanks to my server Emily who helped steer me the right route, right down to the Chardonnay. Chefs 💋 PS. am absolutely sure the ravioli would have been 5 ⭐️ too

Food and Service, excellent. It was very warm because of the draping between tables. No air circulation. Only one ceiling fan. A very loud group of 8 30 somethings sitting adjacent to our table of 4. Made it hard to talk or hear. The menus on the website need to be updated. They are not consistent with the menus at the restaurant for lunch or dinner.
