LuLu - Coconut Grove

I added myself to the waitlist via Open Table, however, when we got there the waitress had no idea how it worked and said my name wasn’t on the list. She had to put our name down again end we ended up waiting about an hour.

Food is always amazing and service was great! Great location to people watch and sit back and enjoy the outdoors.

We had our church staff lunch there and it was a terrific place. Food was amazing. Will definitely be going back!

Food was good, could have done with more spice in my salad as it was due to be Thai but very lacking. But flavour was still good. Fish tacos very good

We went out for a date night - from the moment we were seated at our table, we felt rushed by our waitress Cynthia. I was specific that we wanted to have some starters and a bottle of wine later and didn’t want to be rushed. Less than 5 minutes after our appetizer arrived which we were eating , the main course came in before we had a chance to finish our appetizer and wine. The manager came over and said she was sorry and that they would wait for our signal before bringing the main course. 5 minutes later she was back asking if they could bring out the main course- this is ridiculous and we felt that all they wanted was to flip tables as quickly as possible. The manager is totally useless. I have not had this kind of rush experience in a very long time and will not come to this place again. Bad customer service = loss of customers = bad business model. I will make sure that everyone we touch in social media is made aware !!! Lousy experience.

Great location especially during the madness we're living with the pandemic! First time I have ever been to this spot and I was extremely satisfied. If you're looking for a spot to have a date night, I highly recommend Lulu. It's a nice, casual spot but not too casual. I went for dinner, and they did not disappoint. They have quite a few options on the dinner menu. I had the Lulu burger and it was spot on! The fries not so much (but I am very particular about my fries, that's just me, personally). Also, I have heard great things about their brunch which I do intend on trying next. Needless to say, if you're ever in the Grove for date night, you can't go wrong with a good ol' American dish. Lastly, Lulu does a great job with the small details! (Lulu really pays attention to the online form you fill out to make the reservation). We were celebrating my date's birthday and they treated us with the chocolate mousse, so delicious! Oh, and the staff, amazing! (Jesus was our server that night) Apart from friendly and attentive, the staff stuck to all the regulations to keep us safe.

Food, drinks and service was excellent. There was not one thing we ordered that was not perfect. Would highly recommend.

Our waitress was great. We ordered a turkey burger which they forgot to bring with everyone else’s meal. We told our server . She felt really bad and did not charge us for it. Wish there were more vegan/veggie items on the menu. They were out of the portobello dish. But still had a nice time w our family.

Great outdoor venue for dining, albeit occasionally noisy with road traffic. We did a number of small plates which were both tasty and a good value.

Great location in the heart of Coconut Grove. The service was impeccable. Very nice options for dining outside. Very good reasonable price menu.

Great location. Excellent service. Plenty of social distancing. Not rushed at all. I wish the scotch was a little less, but prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent.

While the Grove is a very nice setting and adds to the ambiance on its own. I think some of the tables could be a bit more inviting especially the ones along the glass wall.

We have dined at Lulu several times and will be back again!

Ate during covid-19 restrictions. Staff handled that well. Comfortably seated outside with distancing. Food was excellent, came out fast and hot. Everything was great. Even had tres leches and chocolate mousse for dessert, was remarkable. Will come back.

I have mixed feeling about my visit to Lulu. Meatballs appetizer was not good at all; I ordered the octopus for entre and it was amazing; my mom ordered the sea scallops, very good but it came with asparagus, she said they were disgusting. Desert, passion fruit cake was really good; wine was really nice
; service was slow but she was nice; food took forever.

Our grandson is a student at University of Miami, he actually chose LuLu Coconut Grove for his birthday dinner. We had a wonderful time, ate outside the restaurant and street were decorated beautifully. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful. It was our first time at the restaurant, but it won't be the last. As a coincidence, while we were valet parking we got to meet the owner, Silvano, who told us his son was also a student a UM!

The food was inconsistent. Some dishes (such as the Brussels sprouts, burrata, and churrasco steak) were excellent; the Caesar salad tasted like fast-food; the quinoa/herb-crusted salmon was ordered medium, overcooked dry, and remedied with a perfectly-cooked but tasteless replacement, though that dish’s sides were terrific; the fish tacos were small and otherwise mediocre; the shrimp tacos had one small shrimp per each of the the three small tacos, though management brought five additional tasty grilled shrimp; and the bread pudding (which is the only dessert our party tried) was pretty inferior. Our server was sweet and definitely tried, but she also was inexperienced and overloaded, so wasn’t able to fully attend to much after our initial order. The ambience was pleasant enough. All considered, no one in our group of 8 is inspired to return. And, that’s a shame because—from the menu and location—it seemed like it could be a great place.

My husband and I have been here twice in the past three weeks and love it. It’s our new favorite date night/dinner place! The drinks are amazing (I had the Coconut Grove mojito and he had his favorite top shelf rum and Coke). We love ordering a bunch of appetizers as they are all delicious and none have left us disappointed. I highly recommend the Roasted Dates as they are huge, wrapped in bacon and a sweet and savory delight. Our servers have been great, attentive and friendly. The ambience and vibe were perfect as we enjoyed the weather dining outdoors. Can’t wait to come back.

Celebrating my husband’s birthday -great food and service- jalapeño mashed potatoes and special tres leches as a surprise!

This place was great. The food was excellent. The ambiance, perfect. Great place for wifey and I to have a nice date night. Service was great. Stayed here for about three hours. Eating, drinking, smoked a cigar. I shut the place down!! You won’t be sorry if you go here.
