   We made a reservation but, when we arrived, the door was open but no one was at the restaurant. We did not receive a call to let us know or to respond to a voicemail.

   We made reservations for LuLU at Rose Hill but when we got there it was closed. We never received notification that it was closed. So on a Saturday evening we were left struggling to find a place to eat.

   Lovely lunch and dinner venue overlooking the golf course. Our lunch waitress was great.

   Worst dining experience ever. This is a 19th hole restaurant at a golf club. For Valentine’s day, it was not busy. One larger table was finishing their dinner. Three other tables, inluding ours were occupied. After we arrived and ordered a bottle of wine, we were told the selected wine was no longer available. the alternative was low end found in any grocery store. 15 minutes later we flagged the waitress to place our order. After 55 minutes we were told it was not more than 5 more minutes. At 7 minutes we got up to leave as they were bringing in the food. at this point, it was 1 1/2 half hours after we arrived and chose to depart. Adding further disappointment, I was charged $32 for a substandard wine that cost under $9 at Food Lion. Minor apology. No explanation. No consideration for wasting what was a holiday evening meal with friends. Go Elsewhere and avoid this location.

   Shrimp and pasta dish was excellent. The batter on the fish and chips was very heavy and greasy. It had to be removed to enjoy the fish.

   Understaffed and unorganized. People walked out for lack of service. Although our sever tried his best, he did get our order mixed up. Salmon was good in itself, but bbq sauce on salmon just doesn’t make it. Go back to the old menu and chef!

   Enjoyed lunch with a friend. Food and service were great. Even though the hostess and waitress turned down the tv volume, it was still loud. We were right next to the tv.

    Based on prior "Italian Night" experience at Lulu at Rose Hill, I tried it again last night 1/1/24. It was not an enjoyable dinner. The Mozzarella served with tomatoes and balsamic vinegar was cold, hard and tasteless. The chicken Francaise was extremely dry and not served with angel hair pasta as advertised. Dessert was good. The manager offered a glass of wine or second dessert, which I did not take advantage of. Will be a while before I return, if at all. Disappointing.

    Mrs. Alven, first allow me to say how disappointed I am that you didn’t enjoy any of your meal. The team at Lulu at Rose Hill would have been more than happy to exchange your meal or at the very least prepare you a new meal. Please don’t ever feel like we are not here to serve you, this is our livelihood. I am however glad to hear the new manager, Xavier, did the right thing in offering you complimentary beverage or dessert. I however will refund your complete check.
