Service was outstanding and the food was GREAT. No complaints. We ordered the cheese dip, avocado dip, boudin egg rolls, and the blackberry glazed ribs. We had a delicious frozen pomegranate drink to get it all down. I was shocked as the portions were HUGE. Beyond impressed and will be back again.
Amazing, interesting food. locally sourced and fresh every day. Friendly knowledgeable waiter. Drinks made with their own distilled spirits. My Mojito was awesome.
Food and service were excellent! Would highly recommend!
Food was amazing! Staff friendly and courteous. Noise level was too high. Music was way too loud. Tables were too close together.
Disappointed and Loud.
Blue Cheese salad, skirt steak was great; pork ossobuco was messy but pretty good.
Pickled mirliton different but not worth getting, crawfish mac & cheese was bland and very overpriced for basically cheese & noodles.
It was a busy Sat. night but service was bad, even though waitress was very nice.
Asked for straw didn't bring one of the salads; different server attempted to deliver not our appetizers during our entrée; and a missed cocktail was given as a to go since it never was delivered.
While I generally liked what I had, my company has no desire to ever return.
Beautiful establishment, food was very good, music and vibe was fun. Service was mediocre, but may have just been our server, would give it another chance.
Excellent foo, service and price! We loved our server, she was most accommodating and the food was outstanding. We’re from out of town but will return again when we’re in town to visit our granddaughter who attends Tulane ‼️
Worth the drive. They make their own liquor. Food and service is amazing!
Great service delicious food perfect atmosphere
Food and service were great! Been in NOLA since 7/10 and this was definitely our favorite meal. Morgan our server was a delight. She even brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! Restaurant looked impeccably clean, full of light and nice and cool!
My first experience with Lula was amazing! We were definitely feeling the vibe and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the crawfish queso & blackberry glazed ribs. We closed the bar with Rebecca and Ed who were way more accommodating than expected. Great vibe, great food, and amazing hospitality! Can wait to go back!
Had a wonderful brunch!
Unfortunately we had the absolute worse service that we've had at any restaurant in several years. Every part of our interaction with our server was less than ideal except. He immediately made an excuse for taking awhile to come take our drink orders. Then our drink orders took awhile. The appetizer was timely, but the main portions took awhile. When we completed our dinner, we ordered dessert. The dessert took over 20 MINUTES to arrive. Then to add insult to injury, our check included 4 orders that weren't ours! Of course this was corrected, but it really exemplified what our experience with our waiter was like. The ambiance is awesome, the food was actually good. From the appearance it seemed like those receiving the drinks the fastest were those ordering from the Vodka bar, but it was SELF SERVICE. I honestly hate to be so crudely honest, but that's how bad our server was. He did offer the excuse that the reason it was taking so long was because they were so busy! UGH!
We love Lula! Our second time to visit! Great drinks - we went Sunday after church and it was a bit loud but it was happy people enjoying themselves! 🙌 Food was great, we will be back!!
Very nice. Service was amazing. Me and my boyfriend whent here for our anniversary and they made it very special
Beer was great, food was excellent especially the ribs. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. Hostess was courteous and smiling. Will be back!
I eat here once a week for the lamb chops . I always make a reservation because they can fill up quickly. My experience is always great, but last week the service could have been better.
So glad that I finally tried Lula's. I have passed the restaurant a few times when visiting New Orleans as it's located in the Garden District, but would always get sidetracked from visiting. I absolutely loved everything! My server Jonny was absolutely wonderful and super attentive to my table. t
The ambiance of the place was chic yet casual and my daughter and I loved everything we tasted! We had boudin eggrolls, crawfish queso, garlic lemon shrimp bowl, and shrimp and grits. We will definitely be back to Lula's on our next trip to New Orleans.
Great service and good food. It is nice to celebrate a special occasion.
The queso was tasty and plentiful.
I had the shrimp grits which comes with fried green tomatoes. Since those are two of my favorites I was excited they were being served together.
Leaving the shell on, with beady black eyes is an esthetic choice I don't understand. My fault, I didn't act fast enough and request a trash plate immediately. I had wait for the waitress to come back to request a plate to put the shells, legs, and stringy red "tentacles?" on.
Then of course by the time I was done cleaning my shrimp, I didn't want any eyeballs or other inedible trash on my plate while I ate, my food was no longer hot. The green tomatoes were soggy. They were stacked in the grits, had grits between them to hold or glue them together, and a moist mixture of onion and celery on top.
The bread pudding was tasty. It could use either whipped cream or icecream.
We had a reservation for 7:30pm and showed up a few minutes late. They were extremely busy due to it being July 4th and it seemed like they were understaffed. That said the hostess was very polite and asked that we wait a few minutes while she had a table bussed. There were walk-ins that were ahead of us but since we had reservations we were seated accordingly. While service was a little slow, our waiter was super nice, and we were in no rush. The cocktails were refreshing and the food was delicious. We ordered the boudin egg rolls, the fried green tomato stack, and the seared market fish (speckled trout). All were amazing. We’ll definitely be back.
Food was wonderful both times that we ate there in the week we spent in New Orleans.
Great food! Nice lively atmosphere as well. There was a bit of a wait, but that’s to be expected for Sunday brunch.
My husband and I go to spot…. Great food, great drinks and great ambiance
Our last experience was about a year and a half ago. Not a place that I would recommend then. Now, incredible. The food is lovely, the service was fantastic, and the price point was spot on. We will definitely be back on a regular basis!! Thanks Ed and Madi for a wonderful day!
The food here was amazing and our server Jenny was so helpful and kind!
Tasty mains and dessert in a unique environment. Good cocktails
Nice atmosphere and service was great. Food was not quite as good as I had hoped but we still enjoyed the evening.
Went there with a friend around 4, it was pretty empty so our service was great and the noise level was low. Cute atmosphere and the food was surprisingly good for such a big venue. I got the garlic shrimp boil which is not actually boiled shrimp but sautéed shrimp over French fries which was an unusual combo but pretty delicious.
Great atmosphere and the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great food experience.
Everything about this place exited me to return . The food was wonderful, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was great. Loved it!
Food was awesome, but the service wasn’t too great. We waited at our table for 25 min before being greeted by anyone.
We had a reservation, waited 15 mins to be seated. Waited for 15 mins for drinks. Folks were nice. Food just ok.
Best GNO restaurant back on its feet after COVID. Good value, sports bar atmosphere but the food is several notches above that.
We had a wonderful time at Lula. Everything was lovely.
Enjoyed trying the bottled cocktails.
Food was excellent . Good place for
Great atmosphere and happy hour! Lots of good food options and quick service
A visit to Lula’s and an order of avocado crabmeat dip with extra wontons followed by crawfish mac and cheese is on the must do list when in New Orleans. Of course, a signature cocktail with on-site distilled spirits is required as well! Everyone is so friendly - truly service with a smile.
Becoming one of my favorites places to dine. Food is always delicious and the staff friendly
For New Orleans this is not the best cuisine. The distillery is cool, but the restaurant not so much. We ordered the Pork Osso Buco which was a huge side of pork surrounded by 50+ Brussels sprouts. Didn’t even know there were grits because they were so covered up by the sprouts. We also ordered the Ginger Lemongrass Shrimp which were not very spiced up but 1/2 bottle of soy sauce mopped up the fries under. More seasoning and less soy sauce. In/out of the restaurant in 45 minutes.
