We had never been here and had high expectations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food as it left us with an unsatisfying feeling. If you want quantity versus quality, this is for you. We had the chicken and baskets and the fried chicken sandwich. The fried chicken sandwich was luke warm and dry on regular sandwich bread and some shredded cheese. The chicken and biskets was the same piece of chicken with gravy. The restaurant was very busy but didn't have the type of atmosphere that we like. We are locals and felt this place was better suited for visitors. We do not expect to be back.
Food was OK. Was a little loud. Like the modern decor. Fish was a little overcooked.
I absolutely love Lula. Tonight I brought out of town guests for the first time and was a bit disappointed in the ftwo of the 5 dishes of food. It is two dishes we have gotten in the past not sure if a different chef fixed the food but it was a bit off. The shrimp and grits was a smaller portion with less shrimp than usual. The shrimp salad was a bit smaller with less shrimp. My out of town guests did love everything about Lula. You know I will definetly be back because I love LULA. Just wanted to say it was just a tad bit off tonight.
foot was not that great. they also did not enforce mask wearing to customers as they entered the establishment during height of covid.
Cocktails were great. No happy hour food-bummer
Enjoyed the crawfish Mac and cheese -big enough to share
Great food, knowledgeable server and great view : micro-distillation installation
What a lovely place to experience in NOLA! We went for.y wife's birthday and were so pleasantly surprised, the custom distillery drinks were on point and the food was spectacular! For starters the fried pickles. And then pork/cane skewers got us rolling and then we each had a different dinner, from ribs to gulf redfish, and a couple of shrimp boils and then load a few happy hour cocktails and we were set! We are all looking forward to coming back!
food is great, drinks are excellent, service is excellent
Great waiter. Great for large groups. Food good but limited menu. A bit noisy.
Great ambience, delicious food. It was a little noisy, but not enough for the need to yell. Our server seemed a bit rushed, and was slow to get to our table, but overall good experience.
Food fell flat on flavor. Drinks were greats. Service was awesome
Our waiter was absolutely amazing!
Great food and great drinks. Even better service!
We loved the food and casual atmosphere, nice outdoor seating as well!
Exceeded expectations—the food was top notch and the patio seating was comfortable. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place to eat. Great service, great atmosphere. Easy parking.
Super enjoyable afternoon with plenty of shade, great drinks and excellent service. The location was perfect with easy spot jumping off and on the streetcar. Looking forward to returning on our next trip to NOLA.
We went for Easter brunch/lunch, our waitress was wonderful. Food was great. Such a wonderful atmosphere!
It was a great atmosphere! The food was delicious and the server was wonderful! Would definitely recommend it to others.
The food and drinks are always amazing! There isn't a thing I've tried, which is a lot, that I haven't liked.
We went to Lula's for the first time for Easter brunch and we had what may have been the best brunch experience we've ever had. The staff was upbeat and helpful. The food and cocktails were AMAZING. The shrimp boil and French Toast were insanely good. Highly recommended!
Great ambiance and great service. Food unfortunately was not that great. We got the fried pickles, crawfish queso, fried chicken sandwich, and pork bowl thing. None of it was that great for the price, which is moderate. Meal was like $90 with two drinks after tip. If it was $50, maybe this restaurant would be a decent value, but for almost $100 for a meal for two, I would have expected the food to be a little more refined. I’ve had bar food that’s better (I’d take wings and fries from Down the Hatch over this place any day). We really wanted to like this place but the more we ate the food the more disappointed we were. The only reason I can see myself coming back is if I wanted to host a dinner for a bunch of people and not pay an exorbitant amount/not go to a bar vs. somewhere like Coquette or Josephine Estelle, which are both more expensive but easily worth the money since the food/dining experience is top notch.
Been here on several occasions and never had a bad experience. Food is delicious, waitstaff and hostesses are friendly, reservations are always ready on time. It never feels too crowded and i appreciate their distancing between tables. Its a big place but you never feel like you're on top of anything else. Never tried a meal or a drink i didn't love!
Great location and diverse menu! Drinks are great also!!!
Great place to eat and visit with friends. Loved the rum and Coke!!! Even took a six-pack back home. The food was very hood and our waitress very attentive and informative..... definitely will be returning on our next trip!!
Our waitress, Nikki, was amazing! She made the experience top notch!
If I went back again I would probably just get 2 of the crawfish queso appetizers and skip any other part of the meal. LOL. It was THAT good. My chicken sandwich (with fig) was also outstanding. In fact, entire meal was two thumbs up.
Exceeded all expectations. Great food and service. Would definitely go back
Everything was great better than I thought it would be
Wonderful service. Very professional. The wait wasn’t long at all.
Outstanding unique food every time we go and the cocktail drinks are always superb!
Fun atmosphere! Had the fried chicken sandwich which was the fan favorite!!If you do bottomless vodka, make sure to get the handles instead of individual drinks as the service was a tad scattered
Drinks were very good. It was very loud but enjoyed it.
Great location, great atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. 10/10 recommend for date night with your special someone or for a first date. Great place to relax and excellent happy hour options! I will definitely be returning to try more delicious food and drinks!
Both of our meals were amazing. Must try the sugar cane skewered pork! I had the absolute best fish i've ever eaten. It was the special, a gulf rock fish.
Vacationing in New Orleans and wanted a unique place to eat. Their house distilled liquors were great in their classic cocktail recipes. Ordered the Pork Osso Bucco and my wife had the lamb chops. Everything tasted great with more food than we could finish.
LOVED the blackberry mojoto and the crawfish queso. The table got grilled market fish, Lamb chops, crawfish Mac n cheese & garlic shrimp boil. Everyone was happy! COVID restrictions were observed.
It was my first time there. From the time I walked in I was very pleased. The hostess was very accommodating, I loved the atmosphere and food was delicious.
Overall the menu is very limited and the kids menu has dirty rice listed but it's actually plain white rice very misleading. The don't have simple things like lemonade, every beverage is soda. They need to expand the menu to more people. They don't substitute anything, you can't even order a grill chicken sandwich when they sell fried chicken sandwiches... Truthfully the vodka is better than the food... POOR LULA
Crawfish Mac was dry and only a few crawfish tails. Ribs were dry as well
