Good Food!

Traveling from Buffalo - great experience. Highly recommend! Everything was fresh and flavorful.

I made a reservation online that didn’t transfer to their books. Luckily it wasnt busy so we were seated within 10 minutes. Food was great. Service was ok. Servers seemed overwhelmed and didn’t check back in frequently to refill drinks etc. ambiance was great but it gets pretty loud in there so beware. Servers were friendly.

The food here is EXCELLENT! You can not get fresher fish in Pittsburgh. Also try their Catfish bites appetizer and Lobster Bisque, it is the BOMB! Their Crab Topped Bloody Mary drinks are also something special - definitely a must visit in Pittsburgh!

The food was incredibly good! The fried Chesapeake Bay oysters were some of the best I've ever had and I've had a lot! Lightly battered, lightly fried and so fresh tasting! The sautéed calamari in a mild marinara was wonderful. The freshly baked warm roll filled with lobster meat was amazing! Everything was sooooo good! I've forgotten our server's name, but she was very sweet and attentive! A beautiful day and a wonderful meal!

The lobster bisque was fabulous! The server was friendly and efficient. Only complaint is that the bread on our sandwiches was rather hard and didn't seem fresh.

Always delicious! I like the whimsical sea theme. But there should be a more upscale area to match your upscale food and prices. The music was just a bit high. Coffee is great.

We came in for appetizers and ended up having a meal and dessert - everything was amazing! And we haven’t been out in a long time, so it was the perfect reintroduction to dining out!

The best place to get fresh fish and seafood in downtown Pittsburgh - gotta try Luke Wholeys! We even got to meet the owner on our last visit. Very down to earth, very friendly service, good food, excellent Lobster Bisque! :)

The fish sandwich and lobster sandwich s were amazing! We honestly loved everything we had that evening. Including the desserts. All the food is amazing!! I recommend this place for the whole package of goodness!!!Thank you Luke and staff👍👍👍👍❤️

Loved everything about the whole experience!

First time at this restaurant so my wife and I had no preconceived notions. What we found was a very nice and clean casual venue with excellent seafood. Menu was full of options and very interesting, food was prepared excellently, and portions / value of meals was very good. Service was professional and nice. While we ate in a large open space, noise did not prevent a reasonable discussion across the table. Owner came to our table and engaged us in a meaningful discussion on the meal and our satisfaction ... not just a perfunctory appearance. We will definitely come back!

I had the appetizer, oysters. They were some of the best oysters I’ve ever had. And the white tartar sauce was delicious. I also had the Bloody Mary with the soft shell crab, thought the crap was rather expensive.

I always hear Maryland is the place for crabcakes and football but I'll take these crabcakes and the Steelers over anything Maryland has to offer.

Looked at the online menu and seen a few dinners I wanted to try and when we arrived was told they didn't have the appetizer that we wanted, they didn't have the coconut shrimp the crab legs went up to 50.00 a pound.

The catfish bites were a great recommendation from our waitress. We enjoyed the soft interior and crispy exterior.

Monica was outstanding! The sushi suggestion was greatly appreciated. My shrimp po boy was cooked perfectly and the bacon is the best bacon I’ve had anywhere.

We love going to Luke Wholey's! Every time we go I say I'm going to get something different, but I always order the crab legs and they are amazing! My husband has tried several different dishes and has yet to find one he didn't like. The ahi tuna entrée is also to die for. We brought my parents there for the first time last weekend. My dad is not a huge fish person but he LOVED their wagyu burger. My mom had the Scottish salmon stuffed with crab and said it might have been the best thing she's ever eaten. I highly recommend going!

It is a nice restaurant but the food is only my okay. Raw bar is very good though.

My wife and I had a great time and great food at Luke’s. The food was top notch although a little pricey. I think if they had table cloths and linen napkins maybe it would justify the price.
