It was great but they didn’t acknowledge that it was our anniversary even though I wrote it during the booking process, specially the fact it was our 15 year anniversary.

This was not my first visit to Luke, and they have me feeling like a welcome regular. The shrimp & grits is amazing, and Brandy, the bartender, is a customer-service super star. An easy five star rating that I will visit again and again.

The chef is creative so he took many of the popular dishes of New Orleans and tweaked them into something unique. The crispy Brussels sprouts were the best “sharing” item. The Luke burger was large...with Allan Benton bacon, caramelized onions, tomatoes, and emmenthaler cheese. I had the Tasso rubbed yellowfin tuna with black eyed peas. The shrimp and crab etouffee unfortunately was not 100% free of shell. The birthday girl did enjoy “on the house” a decadent chocolate dessert.

Everything we had was amazing. Crispy Brussel sprouts and the S'mores Torte were the two standouts!

Got an early seating with my wife. Complementary champagne for our anniversary. Signature cocktails were excellent. Was happy hour pricing so we also got plenty of oysters. The main dishes were outstanding. I had the shrimp and grits and she had the tuna. Very different choices both done perfectly. Loved our server and the open view into the kitchen near our table in the back room area. A+

Casual restaurant for good Cajun food. We particularly enjoyed the Duck Duck rice, although so generous in proportion was hard to finish.

Out of town for a girls weekend, a local recommended this restaurant. Dined with delicious food, great service, and a great touch for our friend’s 60th birthday! Elliott and Rich were great waiters. My friend loved the tuna and we all loved the Brussels sprouts and gnocchi.

This is our second visit to Luke. We enjoyed our meal so much the first time we decided to return. However, our experience this time did not live up to Luke's reputation. We were dining with a local who had the P&J oysters. This man knows his seafood and said the oysters were dried out like they had been shucked 5 or 6 houses earlier. Not the fresh shucked oysters you would expect at restaurant known for it's fresh seafood. The fresh drum was "average". But on a good note, the wait staff was excellent and knew their business! They made our experience enjoyable.

I made a reservation for our party of 4 to celebrate 2 of our birthdays and I am SO glad I did. Not only did they provide us with custom menus that said Happy Birthday but they also provided a free dessert and made the whole experience SO enjoyable. The crab & lobster bisque was amazing as were the Brussels sprouts. I highly recommend Luke for those looking for a unique, fun and delicious dining experience.

This is the second time I have been to Luke and it is as great as it was the first time. Great service, wonderful food (the duck and the brussel sprouts were fabulous as was the pate). Enjoyed the ambiance and they let you enjoy the meal, without rushing you. Definitely going back!

The Brussels sprouts were great. Other than that, the food and drinks were pedestrian. And the wait staff treated us the way everyone now treats women over the age of 60 -- as though we were invisible. Too bad -- being former waiters, we tip heavily for good service, so they lost out.

Confused disorganized service, mixed up items in numbers brought and order, appetizer after main course

Food quality very good
Dessert below average

Did not come up to expectations per rating and reviews. Thursday night was busy but not to a degree a restaurant of this rating could have handled better.

Brussel sprouts are best thing on the menu! Wine list was a bit disappointing. Service/wait staff was average-a bit disappointing for what I would have expected here (waiters pleasant/professional yet distant as if they didn’t enjoy their job and therefore didn’t enhance the overall dining experience).

Fried eggplant was crispy and perfectly scrumptious. The Lüke salad is fresh, full of deep green crisp gem lettuces, and loaded with colorful goodies. The horseradish vinaigrette is amazing!

Our meal was fantastic. We ordered the gnocchi to share and each a cup of the crab and corn soup.
The corn in the soup had such a wonderful flavor, sweet and crunchy and although it's a cream based soup, it was not too rich or thick. It was perfectly weighted.

Entrees - Duck Duck Rice - delightful, the duck was tender and cooked to perfection, not gamey at all. Shrimp & Grits - the gravy was delicious, the grits were nice and creamy. Not much of a departure from traditional low-country shrimp and grits but still delicious.

No dessert for us...just 2 glasses of Cabernet although the table next to us got the bread pudding and it looked fantastic.

The service was great but the food isn’t anything special that you can’t get better elsewhere. Very very noisy. I ordered the crab shrimp and jambalaya and it was mainly pasta with a few shrimp I don’t think there was any crab it or I couldn’t find any The fish was good but Ordinary. The chicken was very moist and tasty.

I will start by saying that the bisque was delicious! However, I was extremely disappointed with the honey tabasco chicken, which is the whole reason I went there. I ended up getting it boxed up and gave it to a homeless person... The rice and beans part of the meal was good but the chicken was tough and lacked flavor.

Other than one fabulous dish, I was not wowed by my visit to Luke. It seems to be a place to go for raw oysters, of which I did not partake. The fried oyster salad was good, but not great. My husband had the cavatappi with shrimp and crab. He liked it but did not rave about it. We did love the ricotta gnocchi that we started with. It was lick the bowl clean delicious! Cocktails were good too, especially the Jalepaloma. Bread pudding was a disappointing end. I did not find it to have much flavor.
