Fantastic dinner. Food was excellent and service impeccable.
Food was fantastic! Every bite better than the last.
The Luke Burger with fries is a standout, but HUGE, so I usually split with a friend, which makes for a very affordable lunch ($12 each with tip). The staff is very amenable to splitting and each diner gets what feels like a full serving of fries. I like the touch of miniature bottles of fresh mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard for each guest too!
Great dining experience!
We started with a bowl of Crab and
Corn Bisque, Pate of Louisiana Rabbit & Chicken Liver with Relishes. Our entre was the Jumbo Louisiana Shrimp "En Cocotte"!!!!!
Service was excellent, Chris our server was very attentive, food was great, love the sausage, will definitely go back.
I have to start off with WOW!!!!! The service was impeccable. We were helped by this young man named Gary. He was a pleasure to have. He always made sure we had full drinks. Always made sure we were happy. I have been telling everyone I know about this place because not only is the service spectacular, but the food is absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to come back here.
Luke was an excellent addition to our dining experience in New Orleans. The service was excellent, our server Gary was hilarious & the vibe in the restaurant was lively & fun but not loud or intrusive. The food was great, wine list was solid, & the oysters fresh! Overall, a fantastic experience.
This was our fourth year visiting New Orleans from Chicago, and our trip would not be complete without one or more happy hour experiences at Luke. From the greeter to the wonderful wait staff, every person we come in contact with is as agreeable as the fare. The value at happy hour is phenomenal, and what is so impressive is that the quality does not suffer at all for the value. Next year, however, I've decided that I'm going to wade into the regular menu to sample the duck rice dish and brussels sprouts; I'll just cut down my oyster order to allow some room for more goodness. One hint: call ahead for reservations, this place is deservedly popular, and without one, you might have quite a wait.
It’s very good restaurant to have fresh oysters especially in happy hour as well as some alcohols. Every dish I tried was great.
The food at Luke's was very good, however the atmosphere a little loud and crowded. We tried the seafood tower. The oysters were great, but the shrimp were overcooked and a tad mushy. The roasted brussels sprouts were very good as well.
