Fabulous steak, excellent cocktails, already booked our next reservation! Highly recommended for foodies!
Excellent experience all around. Food, service, and outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant were all top notch. I will be coming back here soon!
Always review your Bill, very nice place friendly staff
Very good but not great dining experience
The Oysters was fresh. Had the clam chowder and lobster bisque both very good. The lobster ravioli was very good as well.
We dined inside during COVID. I could not have imagined a more safe restaurant. Dividers between every table. Masked waiters and staff. Hand sanitizer everywhere. Oh, and the food is awesome! This is a go-to restaurant for us! Nice wine list by the glass snd full bar. My hubby got his usual: Caesar salad and beef short ribs in gravy, mashed potatoes snd creamed spinich. Happy hubby, happy hubby! I tried something new...penne vodka with chicken. Hefty portion (I took half home). I had the Lucas salad. Mango and avocado on greens with other stuff. Deliscious! No dessert for us this time. We will return....soon!
Very good service, great food and awesome cocktails.
Food was great. Waitress had an attitude and seemed rush. Very long time between courses. Will give them one more try because the food was so good.
Great food excellent service very nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Eating at Lukas is an expensive experience. You expect top quality to correlate with their prices. My 6 ounce filet mignon was tiny and dried out. My husband‘s porterhouse was good. The staff persists in leaving the doors open to the outside, both front and back which creates an unpleasant draft for diners. After our order was taken, we never saw our waiter again. We had to ask for our bill from another server and our beverages were never refreshed. We look forward to eating at Lukas as a special treat. This has happened to us several times in the past. They were not busy, and had lots of staff on, just no one paying any attention. Not worth the price.
This was our first time trying Luka's and it seemed to have a very good reputation. I may have hit a bad day, but I cannot agree. Not sure what the clam chowder was seasoned with, but it was mediocre and thin/watery. We ordered 2 steaks - a 20 oz ribeye and a 16 oz. strip - somehow, the strip was significantly larger than the ribeye. Both were reasonably good. The mashed potatoes were completely flavorless (if there was any butter in there, it would be a surprise. Finally, the creamed spinach was not "steakhouse" creamed spinach -- it was spinach in a watery milk(?) sauce.
There are much better steakhouses.
We were immediately seated and attended to. Food was very good, good size portions, waitress and bus boy were very attentive, noise level was a bit loud, but nothing disruptive. Nice ambiance. Menu had a lot of options to choose from. Would recommend and will return.
Been there many times. Never disappoints. Great food and service.
Service not attentive. Did not come to table after food served to see if we needed anything
Customers who pay with a credit card are charged an extra
The service and atmosphere was excellent. The appetizers and desserts were excellent. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diablo. The seafood was not fresh it did not taste right, I didn’t eat it. I didn’t say anything. I will just not return. My dining partner ordered the Chilean Sea Bass over Risotto which was good the fish was fresh with no funny taste.
The whole evening was wonderful!
This was my 1st time eating at Luka's as I just moved to Warren. It was AWESOME! Great food. I'll be back for sure
Food was very good. Waited for drink refills despite many servers on hand.
The front door was left open making a cold draft for diners.
Appetizers very good except for the watery and flavor lessLobster bisque. Egg plant excellent. Steaks were good and well prepared. Seafood crepe and shrimp and scallop with mushrooms risotto wonderful
Screwed up the dessert forgetting one order of bananas Foster. Which was made complimentary
Always a good choice! We go there frequently. Indoor set up with plexiglass shields are wonderful. I hope they keep them!
Recommended this place for everything, great dining and excellent food
The waiter refuse to seat us outside claiming that they were not set up even though they had tables in the front with utensils, glasses and napkins. Instead he lead us to the back bar area that was enclosed in plastic. It looked like there was no airflow as they didn't have a fan/vents. He rudely claimed it was too cold although it was a beautiful sunny springlike day and we were prepared to sit outside. He kept arguing with me and looked at me as if I were crazy . We have been dining outside only since Covid. We should have just left at that point but we were looking forward to having a nice lunch. While we were eating a man behind us kept coughing loudly. This completely ruined our meal. It would have been better if he had seated us inside the large restaurant but that was not an option. It seemed he wanted to separate us from the one large group that was seated inside. The food itself was served warm and tasted fine. Still, rude service was not worth putting up with. Service was much better in the past.
Food was good, service was poor. Seated in the back of the restaurant at the bar at a high top table despite having a reservation, inside restaurant was not crowded.
The food was good, but I didn’t like that I was told my food didn’t bring a side. The filet was good, but had to pay extra for a side.
Great Food and ambiance.
I wanted to love it but not quite so. I had the lamb and it was super! The apps and sides came out luke warm :( and the drinks were just ok. Wine list is pretty good. For what they charge the food is not worthy of the prices
Great food and service
Great Service matched with great food!
Service was awful. Food was mediocre
The food was good, but not spectacular. Our previous visit, a little over a year ago, wowed us - we really loved the food and the whole experience. Maybe our expectations were too high, but we were slightly disappointed this time. I had a New England Clam Chowder which more properly should have been called a Clam Broth; I missed the cream base that I expect in New England chodwer. My Seafood Crepes were delicious but not nearly enough sauce. My wife enjoyed her Asparagus Soup, and the Shrimp and Scallops over Risotto were very good. Service was very good, as I remembered from last time. I was very impressed with their social-distancing methods, the clear-plastic separators between all the tables put us at ease. It's certainly worth another trip back to see if we can recapture the experience from our first visit.
Had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant was COVID compliant, everyone was wearing masks. There were dividers between each table. Highly recommend! I'm glad I only live 5 minutes away.
It’s a nice restaurant a bit overpriced for what you get, and no attention to detail from the staff.
It was Valentine’s Day. We were seated outside in a makeshift building that was used in the summer when covid dictated it. There was 98% vacancy in the dining room. There was no reason for us to be outside with patrons watching sports on TV on Valentine’s Day. A huge disappointment.
The food was delicious but the atmosphere was not romantic, pleasant or expected.
Our first time there. Busy night, Saturday before Valentine’s Day. We’re seated right away. Service was over the top at first, then we felt ignored. Our main course seemed to take forever to arrive. In fact a couple by us who was seated after us received their main course before us. The one thing that really bothers us was the lack of sanitizing between guests. Only the table was wiped down not the seats. Not sure if we would return.
They have done a nice job with updating their outdoor area to be heated even during this very cold winter. The servers were very attentive and the food was good, even though my wife's steak came out undercooked for her liking.
Galentine's Day Celebration....we had Matt as our service! it was the most delightful experience we have had in a long time! Everyone was super nice and super covid friendly. Our cocktails and food were both AHMAZING!!! we can't wait to come back! we truly enjoyed it!
Excellent food and service.
After great recommendations from friends we went here for dinner on Friday before Valentines day. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and romantic. They had plastic dividers up to make it feel very covid friendly. We unfortunately didn’t have the best experience in terms of food though but I am chalking that up to a holiday in the pandemic and will be willing to give them another try at a later date. Our calamari came out cold but the waiter was great about bringing us out a new one. They brought another out not even two minutes later but this one was fairly overcooked. The shrimp appetizer was delicious though. I got a steak that while cooked perfectly was reallyyy salty. My husband got the seafood crepes though which were delicious. Overall service and ambiance were great but food left something to be desired.
Not as good as the first time we went. Service was slow, food was mediocre. Perhaps it’s the era of Covid, perhaps it’s plastic separation, perhaps it’s a combination of everything. Will probably try again, because we really enjoyed the ownership and the first time we went. We will try to sit outside next time
Amazing food , staff and atmosphere
Really made the covid distancing great!!
