Luigi's Tuscan Grill
Awesome place. Luigi is the best in ft lauderdale. Try the pizza joint also. Again it is awesome.
Awesome place, great people.
Ordered the veal chop upon asking the waiter for his recommendation. I asked for the included penne pasta to be prepared al dente with a meat blush sauce. Waiter asked me to clarify and i told him it has a bit of cream added to the meat sauce. When i got my plate it was placed on the table by another staff member and he quickly left. As i was hungry i started to eat my veal and it was very good however i don't like to eat it without a side. Approx 10 minutes went by without the waiter coming to check on us and i mentioned that i did not get the proper sauce. He said he would go take care of it and a few minutes later another unidentified employee asked me what was wrong with my pasta. I explained again and he said advised he didnt know what a "meat blush sauce" was and tried to put it back on me. We went back n forth and i told him i just wanted what i ordered but it was late as i was not hungry anymore as i had ate 3/4 of my veal and did not want them to remake my pasta. He asked me what did i want him to do and i told him i am no longer hungry given the time it took to respond and he advised he would take my meal off my bill. Food was good but staff needs to be better trained on dealing with such matters.
Great dinner. We were from out of town but will be back next time we visit.
I always enjoy The Tuscan Grille, best food around. This night, however, I had a waiter that knew a lot more than I did, apparently. He was very condescending about the wine, almost sniggering that I didn't want to spend more than $60 a bottle. I asked for a decanter and he told me that wine priced for $50 would never open decanted. It did. And he was just unfriendly. I wasn't sure that it was because I was just a woman.
I'll go back again, but never will I sit in this guys station.
This is one of our favorite places on Las Olas. It has a nice little courtyard for outdoor dining on nice evenings. The food is excellent, prices are not outrageous and the service is excellent. Solid choice for a night out.
Excellent food! Excellent Service! Wonderful Hospitality! The staff really cares that you are dining with them!!
Amazing authentic Italian cuisine. Great service, atmosphere and value. Good size portions and great wine list!
Very nice , good food great location
Our family was visiting Ft. Lauderdale on vacation and stumbled onto this special place. I had the carbonara which did not disappoint and my husband had the veal piccata and said it was the best he's had. Our server Daniel was so personable and fun. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
A gem on Las Olas. Authentic Italian food with an amazing staff who welcomes everyone. Dont miss Luigi's when in FLL.
Really great food and service. 6 of us, seated outside (where we reserved), comprehensive list of specials, attentive waiter, and everyone enjoyed the food. Even gave a complimentary glass of limonchello. Highly recommend.
This is a staple of ours whenever we are in town, it never disappoints!
Excellent meal, service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and dessert was amazing!
Excellent location, excellent service, excellent menu, very cool atmosphere.
Great dinner as always. Just ordered too much food so good news...had leftovers for lunch.
We frequent Luigi’s Tuscan Grill often because it never disappoints us. They usually have great specials, but we’re content with the regular menu.
very pleasant outdoor dining area. options to make things vegan with no hassle.
Fantastic meal,service and surroundings
Eggplant Parmesan had way too much sauce. Temperature throughout was not consistent. Luke warm middle and hot on the ends.
It was ok - kinda of a cheesy sub par Italian experience. Smelled like pot outside where we sat. Felt inauthentic and food was just ok.
Great service as always along with authentic Italian food! Local gem.
Food was excellent, service was amazing
Very overpriced for the quality of food. Service was better than average, but also not the greatest. Seems like they tried to teach the waiters fine dining, but the server was stuck in the middle of casual service and fine dining which made it a little awkward at times. He was very nice though.
Ordered the antipasto app which included 3 different cheeses. Only was served one which was the"homemade" mozzarella which was definitely not homemade. Asked about the provolone and parm that was to be served and and when the waiter said he would "check on it" he came back with shaved parm in a little cup. Very disappointing for the price point as everything else came from a jar and or was bought at a store.
Deviated from the menu with a veal piccata. A+ for making it anyway. C- for taste and presentation.
Also ordered the Ricotta and Pear Ravioli. This was about a B for me. It was good and definitely the highlight of the meal.
Waiter suggested fried cheesecake for dessert. I wouldn't order again. If they changed how it was made and "fried" it could have a lot more potential. Overall plain and tasted like a fair menu item.
All in all its an OK Italian place with an OK setting. I feel as though they are trying to be a lot more upscale than what they really are or can actually offer. There are much better Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale at the same price point that are much more authentic and worth the visit.
Great food with excellent service. Veal was very tender
Couldn’t have been happier with food or service. Can’t believe I have not found this hidden gem before now. With all the choices Of Italian on Las Olas I will definitely be back here again
Service was Ok. Waiter came to us demanding more money in tip which was super rude and unprofessional
Very expensive and the food was ok
Food was delicious, and our waiter was very knowledgeable!
Love Luigi's! Food is always delicious and the service is wonderful! I highly recommend Luigi's!
As always Gabriel and the team here do an unbelievable job!!!!!! We love the food and service here and it truly is a great place to eat. Welcome Home!!!!!
We were 6 people. We had a reservation and was seated on time. Waiter was attentive. Food was excellent.
Luigi’s is a hidden gem, can’t wait to go back!
Service and food were excellent! Great wine selection! Parking was convenient - there is a small lot just adjacent to the restaurant. Victor, our waiter, was so attentive, knowledgeable and charming ... he was a perfect host. This will be our “go to” Italian spot for authentic food including home
This is a great Italian restaurant. Everything was so delicious. We will make this a regular stop for us.
This was our first visit to Luigi's and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. You felt like a guest in Luigi's home! We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they surprised us by singing and giving us scrumptious homemade tiramisu. I felt like I was dining in Florence, Italy. The dining area overlooks the canal and it was private, yet open. Unlike many other restaurants, I enjoyed being away from the busy street/sidewalk for dinnertime.
Excellent food and drink.
Luigi’s is our go to restaurant for us in Myrtle Beach. Our server, MARIA is the best.
We both had the Daily Special which was the “seafood trio” A combination of Shrimp, scallops, and grouper over a bed of parmesan risotto. We get this whenever it is available. The Risotto is the best I have ever had.
