   We love going to Lucky's for a great meal and the ambiance is wonderful! Better to sit outside than inside. It gets REALLY noisy inside and outside is SO peaceful!

   Loved the brunch!! Food was delicious and service was impeccable! Great location with shopping all around! Complimentary mimosas and pastries too! Fruit platter was one of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!

   We had a beautiful table on the terrace. It was a chilly night but the heat lamps made it cozy and warm. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. Already booked a return visit!

    We love going to Lucky’s Malibu. The food and service is fabulous. The ambiance is always upbeat and positive. It’s the best restaurant that’s opened in Malibu in 30 years! And the manager and team are great!

    My husband and I recently celebrated a big wedding anniversary at Lucky's. From the moment we got there we were treated with a genuine smile from the host who ensured we had a wonderful experience including a nice, comfortable table. Our waiter was also superb. Everything we ordered was delicious and we both thought it was one of the best overall dining experiences we have ever had in LA. Can't wait to go back for more special occasions!

    Food was good we had sand dabs & onion rings were huge. The salad came with almost no dressing . I ordered a 2nd glass of wine that never arrived but was on the bill. We were seated outside on the sidewalk which wasn’t the most pleasant. All in all a mediocre experience. I’m told it used to be better. I’m in no hurry to go back but probably will at some time

    We have dined at Lucky’s in Montecito over a dozen times and have always had a magnificent experience. This was our second visit to Lucky’s in Malibu. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday with a reservation for 2 people. We had a show to attend to later that evening. We were seated inside at a table for 4. After the bus person took our water order, the manager (we assumed) came to say that this was the wrong table and we needed to move. He took us to a table for two and said that the hostess was “new”. We waited for a server for over 10 minutes to greet us and at least take our drink order. The restaurant was not busy yet. We finally flagged down another hostess who was willing to take our drink order and would send our server. A server did come and say she would help for now until our server arrived. So, why were we seated at table with no server there yet? We both ordered Filet Mignons but different kinds and different temperatures. I ordered mine medium rare plus but it was too red. My HH ordered his grass fed filet medium rare but his was more like medium rare plus. We switched steaks but I didn’t enjoy the grass fed. It was too mushy which is why I didn’t order it to begin with. Since we had a show later, we didn’t want to send them back to be refired. I ordered Béarnaise sauce for my steak but I don’t know what they served me but I know it wasn’t real Béarnaise sauce. I have eaten and made Béarnaise for years and the sauce they served didn’t taste like Béarnaise and it was BROWN. I have never had Brown Béarnaise sauce. I asked our server (still the original server) what it was and she said “Béarnaise” and it always looks like that. I had to order a different sauce and I still didn’t finish my steak. We asked to speak with the Sommelier but the server said that they didn’t have one. Montecito does and he’s name is Larry. The barking dogs on the patio were distracting especially for a high scale restaurant. Overall we where very disappointed!!

    A wonderful evening with a deliciously varied menu offering items for everyone. My husband enjoyed the lamb chops while I dined on a perfect filet mignon. Our waiter James was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and we especially enjoyed the two waiters shaking dual shakers for our lemon drop martinis. Will we return? Absolutely!

    We have gone to Luckys for my birthday and anniversary before and they usually hit it out of the park by making me/us feel special with a piece of cake and such. It was my bday and I put it on the reservation (and it was mentioned at the host stand too). It was completely ignored so I felt disappointed. It was a lovely lunch but, unfortunately not the special event I hoped. I thought this would be a tradition but this may change things.

    I regularly eat at Lucky's in Montecito. The food is always excellent! the Martini's are amazing. The ambiance is wonderful. That being said, I expected the same at the Lucky's in Malibu. It was simply fair. We both had to send back our martinis (which never ever happens) because they tasted medicinal. We ordered champagne knowing that it would have to be good and it was. The New York Strip steak was below average. We were very disappointed in the quality and it was overcooked. It was shocking! The calamari, hash brown potatoes and mushrooms were really good. I must say that the waitress was excellent and the manager was very kind. I didn't want to make a big deal since I was enjoying an evening with an old friend. I asked the bus person to pack up all the food and I sent it home with my friend. It was 2 shopping bags full!

    So noisy with no atmosphere, service was slow. Food was mediocre at best and the prices were too high for the quality and quantity of the food. How this has a good reputation I don’t know it’s basically a jumped up strip mall restaurant

    Great food although the menu is limited. Very well stocked bar . Good ambiance for a casual conversation in the patio. The inside dining room is very loud at night and you sometimes have a hard time hearing across a table but it does have that New York vibe. Best of all is the service. Very good and well trained . Always ready to accommodate your needs.
