Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the 1st in Texas.
Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavour.
We hold back a number of tables each evening for walk-ins if there are none available online.

Service was quick and very attentive! Must have apps have to be the Chicken karaje and the Steamed pork buns, make sure to get extra green sauce on the side!
I loved all the single rolls, the Foie Gras, Wagyu A5, and the Pork belly, I got them all Nigiri, very worth it.
Transformers roll, R2D2 roll and atomic salmon was great!
Last but not least the Texas Tokyo Banana desert was phenomenal!
Great service, great food, would recommend to come here again, the 1st time wasn’t enough!
Best restaurant in Austin, TX!!
Food is delicious, wait staff is knowledgeable, and the ambience is cool, sophisticated, and fun!
Lucky Robot never disappoints. The staff are super friendly, super cute interior, the sushi and drinks are always just perfection. I love that they strive for sustainability and it’s so much fun to see how the menu changes with the seasons. It’s definitely my favorite sushi place in Austin and if you haven’t been I highly suggest giving it a try.
Had high hopes for this spot, but it was awful. Ambience was okay, neat inside but would hate to sit outside. Nothing was fresh in terms of the fish. Unimaginative menu and while chef was nice, “their computers don’t let them create anything off menu”. It was also a complete ripoff. Over $180 and we left fish on the table.
Our waitress was AMAZING. She was so nice and made us feel so comfortable and she wasn’t the slightest bit awkward. She made our experience that much better.
The experience was a good one! The sushi rolls were basic and small for the price. The quality of the fish was very good but the restaurant could be a bit more creative with the sushi rolls. Service was great and the atmosphere was outstanding.
Magical spider roll is my fav !
Went here for my birthday and the food was very good! Smaller portions so we ordered a bunch of stuff to share. Great vegan/vegetarian options would definitely go again!
Sitting at the bar was awkward because we couldn’t see our waiter well, our waiter took plates before we were done, the water was room temperature, the waiters didn’t give us our utensils back when we asked after they took them away with our plates, the food was way too over priced for what we got, and we left hungry.
The food is awesome! The service has areas of improvement. We were a big group and they didn’t tell us that the table was only for a certain amount of time and asked us to leave mid dessert because the other party had arrived. They were very rude when they asked us to leave. If they would have told us before hand, we could have planned or not get dessert. It was a bad experience for our friends coming out of town that were visiting.
Part of the chicken teriyaki was burnt. They also got rid of the soda options which is very disappointing. I only came here because my partner loves sushi but I think this place is very overpriced and does not have great options for drinks or food. My partner also mentioned they got rid of many of the alcoholic and sushi options he enjoyed and prices have risen. Pork belly nigiri is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s burnt and sometimes its good.
music was too loud and not good
They didn’t have the champagne on the menu and didn’t have anything equivalent
Our server Leah was amazing! She was very attentive and had great recommendations.
We were fighting away about 10 flies the entire meal that took an hour and a half to get our dinner.
Meeting with friends. We sat outside and It was loud only because of the road as to be expected, the food was amazing and so was the service. Over all would recommend a friend to go to lucky robot. Thanks!
We just didn't like the food. There was nothing ordinary about it.
Great food beef with sushi is an acquired taste but still very good with great presentation.
The food tasted great, but we didn't feel the value for the cost. Also, wouldn't recommend eating out on the patio again. The inside looked really nice, though!
We had a fantastic time at Lucky Robot! Great food, super friendly staff and the vibe is uniquely fun. Highly recommend.
Every time I come to Austin I discover another insanely good restaurant. Lucky robot doesn’t disappoint. Inventive, creative Japanese Peruvian blend with interesting vegan items, fresh fish and awesome execution. Casual but pretty environment with cherry blossoms from the ceiling and modern Japanese prints. I really wanted to sit in one of the swings, maybe next time.
Everything was great but my bf broke up with me afterwards hehe. Now I can never come back 🥲
Thanks for charging him 70 bucks though, made me feel a lil better
Dinning at Lucky Robot is a must when in Austin! The atmosphere, sushi and sake are intoxicating!
Our experience at lucky robot was outstanding. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful service! Excited to visit again!
I eat mostly vegan and I LOVE that Lucky Robot has a variety of dishes for me to choose from. I try to take anyone who visits me in Austin to eat here. 10/10
We had a lovely time catching up, our server was personable and fun, and our drinks were awesome! Great rolls too, but they could’ve used a slightly larger portion of fish/meat.
Excellent, amazing, delicious. Highly recommend!!
We always love the service and food at lucky robot!
I enjoy going to Lucky Robot so much, however, overall experience seems to be inconsistent. For example I can go there one day out of the week and the food seems more fresh than the last time, the server more cheerful.. then the next time I go the food isn’t as pleasant or ‘fresh’ as the last time and so on. The happy hour menu is nice and big though and I love the atmosphere and decor!
This is quickly becoming my favorite place in town. The food is delicious and beautifully plated, the prices are more than fair, and the staff is so genuinely wonderful.
Amazing !!!!! Omg will not disappoint. Sit inside for the ambiance. Great service from dani
The Farmbot was amazing! They definitely have yummy veggie stuff for veg heads out there :)
slow service, set a short time limit on our table, denied alcoholic beverage - claimed ID was expired when it was good through the date we were dining on, and guest was well over 21 years old. Super frustrating just to get a simple drink. Will not be back.
Lucky Robot never disappoints. I like their updated menu and cleanliness. I had the pork buns, atomic salmon roll, and hira hira paired with a fruity sake. They were all beyond delicious! This finicky eater was doing the happy dance.
Everyone at Lucky Robot was extremely accommodating especially when we wanted to switch our reservation to indoor seating. Very nice and generous. We really enjoyed our time there. Love the ambience
I went for an omelette I saw on Instagram and it was better than I could have imagined. Awesome place. Fun people.
Amazing food. Friendly staff. Still keeping clean with the pandemic.
Food was really good and the atmosphere was so gorgeous we'll def come back
Everything was great. Loved the art throughout the place. Our waiter made great suggestions. Food was well presented and tasted great. Would definitely dine here again.
overall, pretty meh. My wife and I came here on a Monday night and were seated outside. This was the only sushi place nearby that had a table available at a reasonable time, so we decided to try it. Between the piped music from the restaurant and the sound of motorcycles screaming up and down congress avenue in first gear (when did that become a thing?), it's pretty loud and not a particularly pleasant place to dine. The service was good, friendly and attentive. appetizers (fried brusells and seaweed salad) were delicious. Rolls were fine but I guess i'm not really a fan of the dry-aged fish thing. Some decent wine would have helped, but the wine list is very limited. We tried some sake but neither of us liked it. We're not sake drinkers, though, so this isn't a criticism of the restaurant.
It wasn't a bad experience but neither of us thought it would be worth coming back.
