Relatively good food and an ok show. Drinks kinda high priced. Don't go expecting a great dinner or a really great show. Go for a good night with decent food.

I heard about Lucky Chengs from articles, and basic Internet chatter. I was totally down for a night of singing and dancing and drag queen humor. What I got was a night of lap dances. The night opened with birthday lap dances, then there were some songs, and then there was a lap dance amateur competition. If you're into that kind of thing, this is a great place. It's probably fun for bachelorette parties, or a night out with the gays, but it was really inappropriate for an evening out with my mother. On a positive note, the food was really good (but the portions were really small), and the emcee was hilarious. Also, the neighborhood is a bit shady.

I made a reservation on OpenTable only to find when I arrived with my friends for the reservation, Lucky Cheng's was closed!!! OpenTable did NOT notify me and our night was shot because of it!

Well Lucky Chengs was a good time. Its certainly not for the faint at heart bc there was no shortage of older lady boys in bikinis and short shorts. However it was upbeat energetic the girls were pretty attentive and entertaining. The food was not great but the drinks were STRONG! So btwn the drinks and the girls it was worth the trip. Oh. And don't bring any straight men with you ladies!

This was a 3 man show!! It was so bad I was embarrassed for them! Such a waste of $250!! Food was terrible!! Big disappointment!!

One of the best drag shows I've ever seen! Every single person made a life long impression on you. There was not one person from the hostess to the bus boys to the beautiful performers that were not personable or had a wonderful personality. This is a must do if you are ever in New York!

I don't think anyone goes there for the food, but seriously, don't go there for the food. The drag queens walked around terrified of the owner, who is not a very nice person, they had a 20% tip to your already overpriced bill and then still ask for some tip money. A hot mess

Lucky Cheng's is a great place to go for a fun night out in NYC. Everyone that works there is just fabulous! The entire time there was fun and entertaining. The drinks were outstanding and the food was delicious. I will recommend Lucky Cheng's to anyone that is visiting NYC!

so much fun for a birthday or bachelorette! so much laughing during the show. drinks are OKAY and the food is standard bar food, but most people show up a bit buzzed from pregaming, so it works out. can't say that you walk out super fulfilled food-wise, but it's pretty alright for a large group.

This place is a must visit while in NYC. The "girls" are fun and friendly. The show is not for kid.

Seriously. The food was disgusting. Even the patrons seated around us did not eat their food. Very disappointing-like a Chuck E Cheese version of the club I loved so long ago in the village. There were only ten men in the room--the rest were ladies celebrating birthdays and bachelorette parties, so that was TOTALLY gross. Arrived first, seated last in back with terrible views, which was actually a good thing, because the show was so unorganized and sloppy that Lady Bunny would roll in her grave, and she ain't dead yet. The only nice queens were the younger and prettier waitstaff, and they should have been on stage. Thanks for turning the high art of drag into a bourgeois, K-Mart nightmare.

We went as a girls night out. The entertainment was ok, but the food was really bad. The appetizers were ok, but all 4 of us couldn't eat our main course, the dessert was cookies from a box.

We went to Lucky Chengs for my sisters 50 the birthday. We had a great time! The "ladies" were wonderful! Lots of fun, snarky and sarcastic, definitely R-rated!! I was very surprised to see people had brought some younger boys with them. Not appropriate!!! We used a Groupon. There's a few choices for appetizer and entree. We all had the same chicken skewers and combination fried rice. The food was good, better than I expected! There was a dessert plate brought out with cannolis, mini carrot cake and fudge cakes. Very tasty!but you come here for the show, not the food! The performers were lots of fun! Lip-syncing and energetic dancing with dirty comedy thrown in! We had a blast! Warning! Lots of cursing! Fun for bachelorettes and birthdays!

Food horrible!
It is better If you eat a hot dog before you are coming.
Expensive at all.

The 'girls' were VERY welcoming, witty, friendly and raunchy. Although the place was small, the ambiance made up for it. The show ran a little short, but I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. The food was served family style, which was convenient, and surprisingly delicious. I would definitely come here again for the fun and laughs!
