   Been meaning to go here for years and wish we'd gone sooner. The restaurant itself is beautiful and staff and service friendly and reasonably paced. The food was very good, though the menu quite limited (less available than on the menu on their website). Cocktails very good and plenty of choice! Music was a touch loud for my liking but overall a great place for a family meal!

   My first time at Lucis. I had the Paccheri con Salsiccia, which was very tasty but I found the pasta was a bit thick with too much bite (more than al dente). The portion size was also quite small for the price at £17, especially given its not a restaurant in a major city centre. We asked for garlic bread without cheese as an accompaniment to the pasta. Although the garlic bread tasted nice I found it very greasy and a bit sickly. I had the cherry cremeux for pudding which was delicious but again I felt it was quite overpriced for the portion size. Overall, it is a nice restaurant, lovely interiors, and the staff were friendly enough. However, I felt it was overpriced for the portion size & price of the food and also the location.

   We went to Lucis for my wife's birthday lunch and had a lovely time, It was our first time at the restaurant. The staff were all really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The food was amazing with very good portion sizes and reasonably priced All in all I would definitely recommend Lucis and will go back for future visits.

    We had an early Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Just a couple of other tables occupied. Not too noisy so we could chat easily. We were served promptly and the food was good and nice and hot. My cod was excellent and my dining partner thoroughly enjoyed his pizza. Nice decor and nice easy listening background music. We noticed that the upstairs can be booked for groups of up 28 people so there is potential for large groups too. I’m not sure how that would work for parking but there is a sign stating that there is extra parking around the back.
