Consistently delicious. Thanks for being a great neighborhood gem!
I love this place ! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very cozy and fun.
Lucio’s seems to be reliably good each time we go which is great. So many times the hype of a restaurant carries it away and you end up disappointed.
They have a pretty limited menu, but really all dishes are well chosen and very good. I had the salad of greens with goat cheese and apple and my partner had a crab cake. Well presented and delicious. For mains, he chose the scallops on risotto and I had the seared tuna. Both cooked perfectly in nice portions. We did indulge in Creme brûlée for dessert which I would suggest is a must. It was creamy, perfectly textured, slightly warmed with a beautiful crackle on top. A great way to end the meal. Definitely will be back and though they now have a liquor license you can still bring your own for a corkage fee. A great meal and they got us out the door to see our show downtown in plenty of time.
I was extremely disappointed in the service that night. It seems like the hardest worker was the water attendant. Our waiter would take so long to return to our table and the place was not busy at all. We finally had to get up from our table to move to the register to pay for our dinner. My dinner was overcooked. I've been here before and I was taken back on how much this place has gone down hill.
Love this place. Food never disappoints, great service and extremely reasonable prices since you can BYOB. Though their wine list is priced exceptionally well!
Good and service were wonderful
One hour between appetizer and entree. Chicken not fully cooked.
Very disappointing evening. Don’t waste your time on this restaurant.
Lucio’s is a great spot for delicious food, good portions, and a classier laid-back atmosphere.
The very nice evening was improved by Lucio's excellent patio. The food was very good and reasonably price.
Excellent restaurant with a complete and well designed menu. They have a bit of everything in continental cuisine. All is well prepared and presented. The BYOB option seals the deal as a wonderful experience. I need to come here more.
We always have a great dining experience at Lucio's. Food and service are always top notch. So glad Melvin is back.
Enjoyed the cauliflower soup, brussel sprouts, and Artisan cheese plate.
We were absolutely delighted to find this little gem of a restaurant through a Travelzoo offer that landed in my inbox. So we left the ease of a no-traffic, suburban restaurant and headed to the big city! Lucio's was wonderful! The wait staff was attentive and unobtrusive, knowledgeable and full of great recommendations. Our party of four ordered the crab cakes, the beef carpaccio, and the heirloom tomato and burratta salad for appetizers. All were outstanding! We were all pleased with out entree choices, too. The lamb was the standout though, among that and the scallops and the filet. Our desert choices were the bread pudding and the creme brulee. It would be a tough call to choose which was better! We sat outside on a beautiful evening and enjoyed wine and beer we had brought with us. The excellent food and the charm of Lucio's made for a truly memorable evening. We will return!
Great food and service. I'm glad I finally got a chance to try this place out. It's such a cute & quaint kind of place - great for a date night or dinner with a group of friends. The menu is small; but what they do with what they offer is phenomenal. Biggest scallops I've ever seen, and cooked perfectly. The pictures don't do it justice. They are huge. Everything tasted delicious and the service was so friendly and accommodating. You can also BYOB or get a bottle from their reasonably priced wine list, you can't ask for anything more.
Wow! What a great find. The outside is very non assuming and the surprise starts when you walk in the door. Lucio's provides a really nice intimate setting for a romantic or family dinner. It's easy to talk and hear as the noise level is quite reasonable. I had the duck breast entree and the portion size was perfect as was the preparation. My dining companions has the scallops and they were also done to perfection, not overcooked. The best part is they encourage a BYOB where for an $8 corkage you can bring your favorite wine. I loved the entire experience.
This was our third time at Lucio's. Never disappoints.
The food , service was outstanding. We ordered 3 different entrees and all were excellent. I enjoyed being able to bring my own wine.
Food was very good but the best part was Melvin our waiter that night. We changed tables 3 times for different courses. Absolute ball. The byob makes the night reasonable making the dinner great value.
It is always a pleasure to dine at Lucio's BYOB . The restaurant has a comfortable yet upscale ambiance, focusing on offering a menu which incorporates the best local ingredients available each season. Lucio's offers a beautiful outdoor patio. The service is relaxed and attentive (Melvin is a long-time server at Lucio's and always a pleasure to see again.) Whether you're seeking s a traditional several course meal, a tasting menu or simply a coffee (I recommend the French Press) and dessert, you wont regret coming to Lucio's.
Solid dining experience.
The lighting is very dark and the scallops were a bit chewy, but everything else was great!
Our waiter was terrific, very wine knowledgeable, helpful and attentive.
It was great!
Excellent meal and good service.
Very clean! Foods and service are impeccable! Very nice and cozy! Thank you.
The tables were very close together and it was SOOOO loud we couldn't hear each other talking. If we know we are on the patio we will go back but never again if we have to sit inside.
Food (scallops) and salad were really good. The BYOB brought us here, although they kind of make up for it with $8 corkage and rather pricey entrees. All in all, would recommend it. Nice outdoor patio as well as nice inside dining.
Food is always high quality and fresh. It is always a winner and never lets us down. The patio is the best since it is quiet versus inside can be noisy.
This was our first time to dine at Lucio’s and was for Valentines date night. We will definitely be back. Lucio’s was everything that we were looking for and exceeded our expectations. Our server Melvin was terrific!
The menu selection is somewhat limited but they do a very nice job. The food is straightforward and it's a great place because of the corkeage. We enjoyed the prix fix Valentine's dinner squash soup beef carpaccio lamb chop. Seabsss. The salad was a bit boring but topped off with a delicious bread pudding and creme brûlée.
We have been to Lucio's several times and went back for Valentine's Day. They had a prix fixe meal but did not put on the website in advance what it was, so we took a chance. The food was good but not what we would have normally picked from the menu. The service was good but with a number of missteps that you would not expect from here (red wine served in a white wine glass, corkage fee added to bill when it was included in the prix fixe charge). Hopefully this was just a slightly off night. Everything was still good but not a Lucio's usual high standards.
I've enjoyed several meals at Lucio's. However tonight's(Valentines day) meal was poorly prepared with very limited choices. Service was extremely unorganized and slow. The outdoor ambiance made the rest tolerable.
Everything about this restaurant is always good. - food , service. We have been going there ever since it opened. Just don't sit in back room too drafty and cold.
Everything was great as usual!
Had a great dinner last night! We sat down and it actually took a while for our server to get to us, however, he apologized and gave us dessert on the House even though we said it was no big deal! Everything was very good. We’ll definitely be back!
The waiter was fantastic. There were 4 of us and 4 bottles of wine, but he didn’t rush us. It was a Friday night and fairly busy, but he let us take our time and enjoy our night.
The special was a fish dish (fluke) that was prepared very healthily, which is a big must for my husband. In addition to being healthy, it apparently tasted amazing!
The only negative was that I ordered the hangar steak. The menu described it and it sounded fantastic, but when it got to me, all I could smell was onions, lots and lots of onions. Fine if you like onions, but I personally hate them, especially sautéed onions when the smell just overwhelms everything else. The waiter handled it beautifully. I was able to scrape them off and push them far enough away that the smell wasn’t so overpowering. My real complaint was why the menu wouldn’t specify it came smothered in onions. The waiter said he would make sure the chef knew and that he would “warn” any future customers of the onions.
All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.
It is consistently good. The service is great too. Very nice evening out.
Great for a nice meal pre-theater on a weeknight. Attentive service, solid menu and wine list. Burrata/tomato salad was lovely - the kitchen divided it for us. We both had the duck breast - hearty serving and delicious. Would have liked more of the yummy puree alongside.
Thanks and see you soon.
It's becoming my favorite restaurant.
Love this place, it’s quaint with fabulous food and BYOB!
