We had a group of 14. Service was quick with the drinks and the pizza came soon after we ordered. Delicious! This is a great place for drinks and pizza.
Dined before the Mr. Chair release party at The Majestic. Server was great in making sure we were on time.
Our salad and pizza were delicious. Service was excellent as well. We had dinner before the Hall and Oats concert.
The food was great but our waitress was absolutely terrible. She did not ask how our food was at all and was rude the whole time. We had to constantly ask other servers to assist us because our waitress was no where to be found.
Food and drink was above average. Unfortunately, my egg dis did have eggshell in them. Service was a little slow. Nicely decorated and liked having the option to sit outside even though we chose to sit inside.
The Beer Steward had recommendations that were perfect for each of us.
We dined to celebrate our anniversary. Great food, great service and wonderful view of the Capitol from our 2nd floor table. Our server was attentive and made great suggestions. We were served complimentary glasses of champagne and our dessert was comped. We ordered both the salmon and a pizza; both were delicious! Cocktails were unique and tasty. Our only concern was that the music was a bit loud and at times made table conversation difficult. We hope to return soon for another fabulous meal
Great for big groups! Love taking my son and his friends here!
ridiculous low inventory of on-tap products / despite being on the menu. Out of sausage to, everything we wanted the restaurant didn't have.
Excellent seating on second floor overlooking the capitol and farmer’s market during brunch on Saturday. Food was great, although limited brunch options if you want something light with eggs (salads are great, though). Great service. We were there when it opened (10 AM) and it was just starting to get busy when we left around 11:30 AM.
I wanted to like it, I really did, but despite the fact that the salad was wonderful and the pizza was pretty good, my evening out here with friends was a one-and-done. The setting is architecturally interesting—one if the best in Madison. We could imagine being there in the winter, watching the snowflakes fall through those grand windows. The service was ok but not great. We’re not there to become your best friend but surely you can find a point between intimacy and utter distance that won’t tax you too much during your shift.
More to the point of why we won’t return, the noise! And I’m not talking about noise generated by other patrons—this was music being played back at significant volume, funneled efficiently to the second floor. It wouldn’t have mattered whether it was jazz, classical, rock, or gongs, it was too much. We were there for dinner, not a concert. Advice to the owners = let the tunes support the space, not dominate it.
In advance, we requested the front 2nd floor table for our anniversary, and the restaurant accommodated our request, much to our delight. The wait staff was excellent and the food was very good. We would go there again in a heartbeat.
Excellent place to relax! Open air dining is awesome
Delish as always!
We were seated promptly and met by a server right away. Our appetizer and drinks came quickly and soon after, our meals. The pizzas were wonderful and so too were the tacos. The open atmosphere was very welcoming and the overall experience was great!
Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our friends liked their meals (brisket tacos). My pizza (The Queen) was EXTREMELY salty, and I like salt! Not sure what happened, but I would try it again because everything else about my experience there was quite positive.
This is the second time coming and I sill loved it! Service was amazing as well as the delicious food!
Beautiful location in the heart of Madsion. Food was excellent and service top notch!
Twins 23rd birthday!
We all ordered pizzas and one of our guests did not get their pizza for 20 minutes after the rest of us got ours! There was no explanation and no offer of compensation!
Enjoyed making our own combination pizza. It was great! Fun atmosphere.
The pan pizza was very tasty. However, we ordered overpriced guacamole that just had huge chunks of avocado and little flavor. I had to take the plate and spend time mashing it up just to put it on chips. We also had the skillet cookie that was burnt so badly we couldn't even get it out with our fork. I suppose stick with the pizza for this place...
Wonderful again! Such great service and food! Booking next reservation now !
Great beer selection and outstanding service!
Great cocktail menu! Our server was so nice and friendly. And the space is beautiful. I would rate the pizza very good, not great.
Our server and coordinator Tara were exceptional
Love Lucille! Great food, excellent service. Never had anything I didn’t like, especially a fan of the pan pizzas. My friend had a misunderstanding about the drink she ordered (on us not them) and they replaced it without hesitation.
We enjoyed Salad and Pizza and conversation at Luicille. What a friendly place.
Great food, great service, too many leftovers to count. The steel pan pizzas are no joke! When they say “serves 2-3”, take notice 😂 Looking forward to my next trip there.
Father’s Day brunch. Options were more limited than I expected for brunch, but our choices were tasty. The food took a very long time, and my daughter’s order was wrong (she had asked for no red sauce on her pizza). But she had already waited so long she refused to send it back, and did end up liking it. Also surprised and disappointed that there was no brewed ice tea - it was from a machine and tasted awful. Normally, I ask - but assumed from all the “farm to table” talk we got from our server that I didn’t need to.
We chose Lucille for a bachelorette dinner. We're in our late 20's early 30's and thought the seating, variety of food, cost and especially the atmosphere was perfect for our group of nine ladies. Our server was attentive and timely and we enjoyed the downstairs vault-lounge post dinner.
First time at Lucilles and everyone in our group loved it! Great food and very fun, beautiful atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
Service was excellent, very friendly staff that surprised us with a bonus dessert for my daughter’s graduation celebration
Had a nice, quiet lunch catching up with friends. Umami pie pizza was so good and drinks were well made. Service was fast! 2nd time here and definitely will come back :)
If you haven't experienced Detroit Style Pizza, you need to visit Lucille. The steel pan pizza was delicious! Unfortunately our meal was not executed as ordered but the server was amazing when I spoke to her about it! So we will be returning for the food and service.
Really cool use of space in an older building! Great food and location!
We took my mom here for her 75th birthday dinner. Everyone loved it!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere. Wait was a little long for our food to arrive.
I requested a seat with a view of the Capitol, and was seated at the best seat in the house -- open terrace/windows looking over the Capitol Square.
Sunday brunch at Noon was just ahead of the crowd and a great venue for a conversation. The drinks were creative, the homemade guacamole and chips superb, and the carnitas hash delicious. By 230pm the noise level amped up a bit to normal happy hour rumbling.
The food was good the pizza came out before the appetizers so that kind of suck. They treated us with free dessert! Lots of food!
