   I reserved brunch for Mother’s Day a few weeks in advance because I was in town for my son’s graduation and the menu looked great. I didn’t want something SUPER fancy/$$$$ but just good - and Lucie had great reviews. However, I didn’t realize it would be a buffet for Mother’s Day (we were told when we arrived) I wouldn’t have booked this had I known - esp at $70 a person (not including drinks). The food was good, the service was fine - no real complaints but it would have been good to know about the buffet beforehand. I don’t eat a ton so it wasn’t a good value for me at all … would have been nice to have the actual menu available that’s online - which is why I booked it. :/

   The food was cold. Even when we asked for new food from the kitchen. The quality/taste of the food was also not worth the $65 per person Mother’s Day brunch. Cold, unseasoned, bland. It was pretty, but not much else. I don’t ever write reviews, but I wanted people to know.

   Went for my birthday. Servers were nice. Took a while to get the order in. Three of us ordered caesar salads, two of them with protein and all salads were dry and the third salad with no protein was the size of a half salad for 16$. Way too expensive. I had the margaherita pizza, and it tasted like it was a frozen pizza. Was super bland. Wouldn’t go back

   Very enjoyable—Cool place! Didn’t realize it was a Sunday breakfast menu till 2:00 pm. We were there at 12:30 and would have liked a few more menu items suitable for lunch.

   We sat at the bar and ate in the restaurant. We enjoyed all the food and beverages we ordered except one glass of wine, which our waitress agreed was not the best, and suggested a better alternative. (Tho we still found both glasses of red served too warm.) The lighting was a bit dim (there are big windows at the front, but we were seated in the back) - maybe they turn it up after dark? All the staff were friendly and our food came out very quickly, which we appreciated as we were headed to a concert. Overall a very nice dinner.

   Food was not very good, had to send our steak back because it was literally raw. We came because they were having a derby “party” but there wasn’t really much going on besides a few specials and no one was there. Even with it being slow, took a long time for drinks to come out. Our waitress was very nice though and accommodating.

   Some odd food choices were made, like allspice on potatoes. Also, the menu is difficult to read is new. There are some mistakes. Be clear with your waiter about what you want and what you’re getting.

   This was a great choice for a quiet breakfast on a weekday morning. Everything is well-executed but unpretentious. The family-friendly service was much appreciated.
