The food and service at Luciano's was very good. Special request to swap out a side offering was honored and greatly appreciated. Bread basket was disappointing, the Italian bread seemed like it was reheated because it was rock hard, as opposed to crusty and was difficult to chew, second basket was the same. We really enjoyed the music from the lounge and so we extended our visit and enjoyed some wine at the bar while we listened to the piano and sax duo, who were fantastic. Go on a Friday night and expect to be well fed and entertained.

I am local to the neighborhood and thought we should give Luciano's Ristorante a try.
The restaurant itself is very nice and a great place for dining.
However, the chef's special we ordered was horrible. The lobster was so overcooked it was hard to chew. The risotto was mushy and soggy.
If you go, do not order this dish...you will not be satisfied. We did not even take our leftovers, that is how dissatisfied we were.
Our server was polite and attentive...just the food was not what we expected based on the reviews we have read.

We had an excellent dinner. Food was wonderful, service superb. We have never been disappointed with our visits to Luciano's.

The place was warm and inviting. Not loud and cozy. Food was awesome as well as the service. Mario took care of us and every detail. Kudos to him!

The salad was very good and my martini was perfect. It was a cold night and the fireplace was warm. My steak was done to perfection and my husband enjoyed his seafood. The bread pudding was really great - as recommended by our expert waiter, Andre. The music was also very enjoyable. Of course, we will return.

Perfect and close to home place for a special occasion

First time eating here and will not be the last. Absolutely loved my charred octopus appetizer, fettuccine seafood fra diavolo main course, and bread pudding dessert. The bread was very fresh and olive oil to dip, superb. My dining companion ordered the short rib and although she liked the meat, she said the gnocchi was overdone, which I agreed. Regardless of the gnocchi, I cannot wait to return! Only challenge was the waiter was less than attentive. Once we had our food, we tried to get his attention numerous times and he would just look at us and continue on with what he was doing. Too many tables I suppose. Other than that, definitely will be back!

Outstanding food. Genuinely made to order, comfortable surroundings and atmosphere, lots of families eating together, multiple generations at one table. Try the handmade ravioli, chicken parm and franchaise excellent, overall a tremendous dining experience!

Service was horrible. I had a friend in town for the holidays wanted to take them to a non chain restaurant. It was a late lunch all servers were on a break. The waiter seemed annoyed that we came to dine. My soup took forever, and once the food came she never came back to check on us. My friend had to go find the Manager to ask for the bill. I was so embarrassed and his perception of NJ residents was that everyone’s rude. I would not dine here again.

We went here during the week to celebrate Valentines Day and after an hour the waiter came over and said would you like to see a dessert menu-we looked at each other and said we haven't had dinner yet. So we were hesitant to come back but I am glad we did because the food is outstanding.

I had only been here one time before and it was good so I went back with friends because we were seeing a play nearby and they loved it. We all loved the apps, dinners, and our waiter Andy.

Luciano’s is a popular eating place for groups and is a lovely environment. However, the food and service can be inconsistent. Our waiter had to come back to the table twice to ask what we had ordered because he forgot. Seems it might be more efficient if it was just written down. All that and he still brought the wrong dish to one of our guests. My meal, the scallops was very good but my husbands seafood fra Diavlo was not at all spicy. We have eaten here several times, and sometimes are better and sometimes worse.

We were promptly seated for our 5:15 reservation. After salads eaten , we waited 45 minutes for entrees.

Attended for a business lunch. We sat in the lounge area by the window. Great service and well prepared food!

Super slow service. One meal was completely wrong but we didn’t send it back for fear of how long it would take.

This was our second visit to Luciano's after having it on my list of places to eat for a long time. Why did I wait?!? Delicious meal, enjoyed by all 8 people in our party . Even though the restaurant was busy, on a holiday weekend, the staff did not hurry us along and allowed lots of time for visiting with friends. Lots of nice choices on the menu.

This restaurant never disappoints. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you are receiving. I feel lucky to have this place nearby.

Always a good time a Luciano’s. We were in the front room which also had a large party celebrating a big anniversary. One waiter. He was great but think they could have used a second waiter because that poor guy was running all night long.

Luciano's is one of my most favorite restaurants. I go their often. The wait staff treats you like family and the food is delicious. The cocktails are out of this world and a very nice Sangria as well.

Celebrated our anniversary on Saturday 10/07/17. Disappointed with meal. I said something to the waiter and he said thanks for letting him know. The pasta dinner with half lobster had no lobster meat in the claw and minimal in the tail. Nothing was done to correct issue. I will have to re-think going back.

This is a good, solid dinner venue. We had a great waitress. I love the larger than usual tables, not too close together.

everything great!! only negative was we mentioned it was our anniversary and our server never checked to see about complimentary desert. said we needed to bring copy of email stating it was an offer to us specifically for that occasion. a bit disappointing since she otherwise was very sweet.

Luciano's has upped its game since we were last there. More creative menu,better service. If they want to improve the atmosphere get rid of the TV in the bar showing kids getting surgery (really!)

Since we moved out of the area it's been some time since we were at Luciano's. The food was better than ever. We went on a Friday and JIM NUZZO & DAVE “G MAN” GONOS were playing. They were outstanding. The whole experience was great.

After heading home from Atlantic City we looked online for a restaurant we could stop in for a good Italian meal. The food was mediocre. They rushed our meal. Brought out entree before we were even done with our apps. Just wasn't we expected.

Food was great, service was outstanding. Chef came out more than once to make sure everything was ok. Lamb Chop Lollipops were amazing!

Stopped here while staying overnight. The food was average. Had chicken Parmesan. Fairly average. Mine is better.
