We are regular diners here and always enjoy the food. Sadly this last time was just not up to par. My pork belly was not good. Parts of it were dried out and dark coloured and other parts slimy and not good to taste. It felt as if it had either been a bad piece of meat or had been badly cooked. My partner usually enjoys the pesto pasta but this time she was disappointed. It was short on pesto flavour and very oily. Not sure what has happened in the kitchen. I let the waitress know and received an apology and offer of a complimentary dessert in recompense but to be honest, I was not after a free dessert and felt disgruntled paying in full for a main course I found unpleasant and which I mostly returned. As I say, we have had great food in the past but feel wary returning in future.

Luciano’s is a fabulous restaurant. The menu is enormous and caters to all tastes with a predominant Italian theme. The pizzas are the best I’ve had in a very long time and the pasta meals are always just right in taste and serving size. The staff are always friendly, polite and talkative and the artworks that adorn the walls of the main hall are interesting and varied. I go out of my way to go to Luciano’s and thoroughly recommend it for a meal before a show, or a quiet dinner for couples.

Attended for 13th wedding anniversary. Waitress was very welcoming and bubbly. She served us very well and made sure we were comfortable. The food was the second best Italian I have had. The best Italian is my wife’s but Luciano’s comes close. Recommend this restaurant and give it an AAA +++++++++++

Celebrated my daughters and wife birthdays with lunch at Luciano Drouin Had a great time Service was exceptional and we all enjoyed our meals Four of us had pasta and 2 others had different varieties of pizza Great place to celebrate a special occassion
