Luciana's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We love this restaurant, however we arrived at 5:15 PM for a 5:30 reservation and found the door locked. Since it was cold ourside, we knocked on the door and was told they don't open until 5:30 and we would have to stand outside until 5:30. We asked if we could go inside and sit in the entry and we were told no. We went back to our car and sat there until 5:28, went back and door was still locked. People waiting inside let us in.
Moral to story: Don't be early!!!
This restaurant seems to have a problem honoring the reservations it makes with its customers. We were seated Thirty Minutes after our reservation time. As if that weren’t bad enough, no one seemed to feel the need to apologize for this, let alone offer to make amends in some way such as an adjustment to our check or a complimentary beverage or desert. This is not the first time we have not been seated close to the time of our reservation at Luciana’s. Very disappointed in this obviously cavalier attitude about honoring reservations; it took a lot of the pleasure out of our dining experience.
What a great evening! We met friends from out of town at this g of a restaurant. Atmosphere was cozy and comfortable in a historic home, our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with both dinner and wine selection and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The Risotto de Mare was amazing. The Lobster Ravioli was great. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable. We have lived here for four years and this was the best restaurant we have eaten in.
Horrible service. Do not get there when they open, even with a reservation. They seat everyone at the same time . It took 45 minutes to get any kind of service. Our waiter was outrageous and then they sent him to work a large party and we got a man who was terribly slow .
The bartender had a horrible attitude. We have been going every year for 10 years on the same date. We will never go back. The food had no love.
The first seating was undesirable. It was near a large conference room being set up and was noisy and in a traffic pattern. There should not evened a table there. After talking with the hostess, we were reseated in the front of the restaurant and everything was fabulous from then on.
we brought our employees to dinner for Christmas . We had a 5:30 reservation and it wasn’t to crowded. It took a vey long time for have anyone come to the table and that was for drinks. Nobody came to take out order and we asked for bread as we waited which we never got . The waiter finally took our order and we asked for bread again , since by then he 6 of us were starving . Other tables had been getting baskets of bread around us. We ordered 3 deserts only received 2. THe 6 of us were in the restaurant for almost 3 hours From being seated to paying the bill. Sorry to say the service was horrible and I’m not sure I will ever return
2 Saturdays before Christmas, very busy restaurant day. Serving staff was crazy busy but still efficient and amazingly friendly, especially the bar tender who took time to thank us for coming and ask my party if we were happy with bar service. Food was good. I’m hoping my monthly dinner group chooses this place again.
I found the service to be less then cordial. The waiter was abrupt and acted as though we were doing him a favor for being at Luciana's. The food was cold and somewhat marginal . The wait staff started clearing the table while two people were still eating. Very bad! I will not be going back nor recommending this establishment to any friends.
We decided to give this place another try after swearing off of it for a while. If the food was great, we could overlook the noisy atmosphere and maybe the terrible service, but alas - the food was bad. There is not a single reason to go back & waste more money. Too bad because it is a cute little house.
Was looking forward to eating here. I don’t like giving bad reviews. The place was Okay. Made reservations and had to wait almost 15 min for a table. The bruschetta was very bland and the tomatoes where not sliced thin. It was think sliced and not ripe. The veil was okay.
