Luciana's does an exemplary job of accommodating the Covid restrictions to create outdoor dining in as pleasant a manner as is possible.

The food was served hot, it was deliciously prepared and seasoned and the service was attentive without hovering or being too distant. Wine list is varied and blends nicely with a range of interesting entrees.

The wait-time between ordering and serving is less than ideal but everything is made fresh and is so delicious that the inconvenience is forgivable.

Highly recommend.

Such consistently great food! We had the mahi mahi, steak with Gorgonzola and pasta dishes; all excellent! Service great; hoping the restaurant is able to return to offering indoor dining soon!

Luciana's has done a great reinventing themselves during the pandemic. Still a romantic eatery with great food that still has reasonable prices. Check it out!!

Anniversary dinner

We have always had a great experience when we have gone to Luciana's. They have great food and and a pleasant ambience and the owner is a great guy.

Excellent menu with equally excellent wine list. The service is prompt and courteous, which completes the dining experience.

Luciana's observes all the COVID precautions and STILL creates an inviting ambience with fine wine, tasty food and an attentive wait-staff.

Great outside seating, was so warm with heaters and covering. Really a beautiful ambiance with lights and set up at the farthest tent. Great food! So good! Can’t wait to go back again!

We had a pleasant evening. The salads and cannolis were outstanding. The entrees were good and the service efficient and friendly.

Had an amazing date night at 5:30 on a Monday evening. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable dining experience during a pandemic!!

Luciana's Ristorante......I had not been to this restaurant for many years, but I will be back again very soon. The Valentine's day experience and food were FABULOUS!!

Can't wait to go back. They offered a Prefix menu for Valentines Day, which was unbelievable menu with several choices. Food was great, the service was great, and is was safe & great eating back at a restaurant. Starting to feel somewhat normal again.. Thank you Luciana's.

Wonderful all around!

We love this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. As far as COVID safety goes, all the employees were wearing masks and the tables were all spaced at least 6' apart. We ate in the outside tent and with the heaters we were plenty warm. We have been coming here for several years now and have never had a bad meal. Our server was very pleasant and friendly which made for a very enjoyable evening. This is a very nice place to celebrate a special occasion.

Great evening at Luciano's! The hostess Linda sat us at a very nice table. Jose was our waiter and did a great job.

Their food is very good with plenty of variety. Prices are very reasonable too.

This is a great local place for us in Dana Point!! If you've never been there you really need to check it out, you will enjoy all aspects of dining there!!

Good food neighborhood gem

Great food with extensive menu. The Veal was delicious and so was the Chicken Parm. Nice wine selection. Had an excellent server “Steve”. Very knowledge and excellent communication and service. Good Italian Beer. Over all value for your dollar A +. 2 entrees, 3 beers, 2 glass Pinot Noir, 2 deserts, oh and an app - $130 before tip. We will be back.

I had not been to Luciana's in a few years so I was excited to return. I really enjoyed the patio experience which had heat lamps to help with the chilly evening. The service was incredible with Oscar and others helping us. It has been rare to find this quality of service by professionals trained in the industry and it was delightful. I was with a friend so we were catching up and took awhile to decide what we wanted. Oscar also suggested a wine that wasn't on the menu and it was wonderful. The food is fabulous and prepared to perfection! I will definitely be going back here again soon. Thanks for offering such a great old school italian restaurant with amazing employees in Dana Point.

Good Italian fare at reasonable prices. Good neighborhood eatery.

Wonderful Saturday evening dinner. Our server Oscar was so friendly and helpful...gave us a great wine recommendation. Looking very much forward to the next time.

We really enjoyed the food and the service was very friendly and attentive.

I also enjoy eating here. The food is great and the service is always outstanding. I’ll be so glad when they start serving inside. The ambience is fantastic for a romantic dinner with a special lady.

We always have a wonderful meal here with wonderful service. My husband and I had the Tagliata and the Bistecca all Gorganzola. Both were cooked to perfection and dressed with wonderful sauces that did not overpower the staeks. Our companions had Lasagna di Melanzne and the Fettuccine Boscaiola and raved about them.

We have been enjoying Luciana’s delicious food and welcoming ambience for years! It is our “special occasion” restaurant and we have never been disappointed!

Amazing food with a very cute ambiance, especially the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and made our Lemon Drop Martini's perfectly! Would definitely recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone. We were a bit chilly outside on the back patio but the food and drinks made up for it being cold.
