Lucia York is an all-day restaurant and cocktail bar serving a modern Italian menu feat. homemade pasta, gelato, pizza, pesce & carne dishes seven days a week.

Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

Absolutely excellent food, presented nicely and cooked perfectly. Great service by friendly staff. Excellent outdoor seating area. We booked in advance which is necessary if you’d like to sit outside when the weather is nice…

Far far too noisy. Came for a lovely evening with my wife. Could hardly hear each other speak. Our 3rd and final time we'll be coming. Shame as the place is nice and so is the food.

When we arrived our table wasn’t quite ready but then to be told we couldn’t get a drink from the bar as it was busy then to be told to stand behind the glass Felt this was a bit off to be fair It would have be nice to get a drink before being shown to our table

However, on this occasion, both our bar and waiting area were completely full, and we had to manage the space carefully for the comfort and safety of all our guests. Me and my 2 friends did the new £55 bottomless brunch on Saturday, we did the old £45 one which was amazing. This one was really disappointing firstly the food wasn’t great the salad was tasteless and the pizza was really bad, we only had 4 drinks each as last time you had the option of a cocktail and a bottle of wine/prosecco to share on your table at the same time. The waiters were good but unfortunately it just isn’t worth £55 in our opinion and we left disappointed.
