Lucia York is an all-day restaurant and cocktail bar serving a modern Italian menu feat. homemade pasta, gelato, pizza, pesce & carne dishes seven days a week.

Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

    Felt overpriced and underwhelmed. Starters were nice, but pizzas let them down, Tough, dry and without flavour. Don't think would return or recommend

    We’d come for dinner following a day at York Races. We were met with disgust by the management staff, Andrea in particular. She advised the waiting staff to deny serving us alcohol until after the meal with no explanation why, she couldn’t tell us herself which was very poor management skills. Unfortunately this created an awful atmosphere, so we ate and left. Please be aware if you enter Lucia’s premises while under the influence they will treat you like children and not serve you until you’ve eaten all your vegetables! We were going to book dinner here again for a friends birthday meal next weekend but unfortunately after our experience we will be going elsewhere.

    The waiter was good (Harvey) good chap very polite. Food was grand but the vibe is what you go for it's a very good place for a date or bring family, love that there was kids about very welcoming ☺️

    All very rushed. Felt like we were an inconvenience- we were a bit early but the staff seemed too preoccupied and harassed to take drinks orders whilst we were waiting. Food arrived a bit too quickly and whilst okay nothing special. Wine not great and overall it seemed that they couldn’t wait for us to go do that they could use the table again. Although it looks very pretty it’s got too big for the staff to manage and we were just cogs in a machine. I wouldn’t go back, there are more welcoming places in York.
