   The food was delicious and nicely presented. The service was friendly and professional. The background music was far too loud for our tastes and made conversation more difficult to hear which was a great pity. Otherwise the ambient atmosphere was pleasant, the decor was fun and the table comfortable.

   Very disappointed after revisiting following a bad experiment in 2023. The muscles were well under cooked and nowhere near as good as York. The pasta very bland. The gluten free risotto was awful so we sent it back to be replaced by the carbonara which was even worse. The pizzas and chips great a usual but that was the only good thing about our visit. There won’t be a third time lucky as to pay them prices which your willing to pay for good food and drinks it needs to improve drastically 👎 staff and service great though👏

   We had a lovely evening. A little cold and needed the fleece blankets provided as we were near the doorway. I do think prices are just too high for what you receive in return. Everything is extra. No veg or salad included, we wouldn’t pay the price for steak. Starters at 12 pounds for a few fancy mushrooms and a bit of bread? I won’t rush back simply as we can get better value restaurant meals locally.

   We were booked in for 7.30 only had two courses but didn’t get out until 10.15. Very poor service. Also there was a large fog in the restaurant which I don’t agree with. When asked about it we were told that they were allowed in until 6pm. This was at 7.30 we asked. They had obviously been waiting a long time also.

   Went for lunch. Lovely ambiance. Service was good, staff friendly. Food was really disappointing. Bruschetta bread hard, tomatoes underripe, not enough olive oil or seasoning. Pasta dish with aubergine - pasta supermarket quality, not fresh. Not a lot of veg in the dish, aubergine and tomato not cooked properly, tasted of nothing😟. I was with friends so when our waiter asked if everything ok, I didn’t comment. But I wouldn’t rush back here

   I had a wonderful meal last night, I ordered the chicken burger and received a chicken breast instead. I did not want to complain or have to have my meal remade as I wanted to eat at the same time as my partner. However, it was still delicious, beautiful decor too.

   Food and service were very good as always. However this was the first time we'd been seated upstairs and it was very very noisy - very difficult for someone with hearing aids.

   Absolutely amazing came here for my date night I would highly recommend the food, service overall the atmosphere was fantastic!!
